Do you have Walsh + Hynes, or are comfortable going without them?

Thompson is a step below the proper guns, but is at a decent price and definitely no origin to worry about.

    I'd trade Simpkin before Alvaro

Alvaro should at least play R13, and its close enough now to be worth holding him.

Simpkin is probably waiting on Liddle to go down injured before he gets another shot (at least in near future) More likely to have a low minute bench role.

I just figure that even if he backs up will prob not hit his be and drop alot of money over origin. Also this way I can lock in another r17 player. Could be a disaster tbh

For me will Keep Teddy. Trade out Tommy and Cleary. Then Waste trades Bringing them back after Origin. Pretty sure I have no other origin stars.

Looking at a previous post of yours, you have 17 trades left.

That means 4 guys in your team are guaranteed to be there for the rest of the year (Teddy is one, but there will be 3 others)

If you trade out Tommy + Cleary and get them back in again, that is 4 trades on 2 spots.

So you'd have 13 trades left for 15 spots, which means another 2 players currently in your squad (in addition to Teddy + 3 from earlier) are there for the rest of the season.

That also assumes that every trade you make is for someone that will stay in your team. If there is anyone else you trade in with the goal of trading out for cash, that means 1 more person you can't spend a trade on.

Do you know which 6 people you will be keeping in your team? And do you have a backup plan in case one of them gets a long term injury/suspension.

I'd make sure you can answer that question before trading out people you want in your final team

Injuries/suspensions have probably been worse this year than last year. Combine that with a lot of popular fantasy players getting dropped, and most people are going to run out of trades earlier than usual this year.
Try and make sure you at least have a good team when that happens.

Cleary is the last person I will trade out over origin but I’m risk adverse.

Not sure a 55 in round 14 with a rest for the last 20 mins of the game is worth missing the back to back banners in round 15 and round 16.

Okay okay… This may be a reach but hear me out!

    VILI KIKAU????

    494K – BE41

No Capewell this week, meaning Martin is the other starting second row and Kikau could see more minutes than usual with Sorenson the only real second row option on the bench.
Then next week with likely no Capewell, Yeo and possibly Martin, he could again see either 80 or close to minutes in R13 and then the week after could see a player or two rested and more minutes?

To add to this he has Bulldogs, Tigers and Cronulla over the next three meaning he can crash over for a few tries average 50+ and then be traded to a R17 player?

Pap + Walker to Hynes + iPap is solid, right?

I just don't know how I feel trading out a green dot with Crichton, Pap, Simpkin, Stefano out.

    Team looks like this pre-trades:

    Brailey
    Tohu Watson Crichton
    Matterson Lucy
    Cleary Moses
    Avo Kelly
    Teddy Walsh Laurie

    Fog Schuster Starling Walker

    Roberts Pap Stefano Simpkin

    20 trades, 90k

Pap to Hynes either way I think, but better off trading Stefano to JFH/TPJ and keeping Walker?

I have Cleary, Crichton, Teddy, Cook, Haas?, Turbo?

I will swap Cook for someone like iPap or Mahoney
I was planning to get rid of Turbo at origin time after he'd made some cash but if he keeps this scoring he's not going anywhere
Have to get Fifita and probably Papy back in so will most likely hold the others or I'll run out of trades

Rule Two of Fantasy Fight Club: Never trade a keeper!

I'll be doing everything I can to keep Fifita, Cleary, Chrichton, Tedesco and Pappy (If i had him). Once they're gone, you'll never get them back.

In order of potential to trade out (least likely first):

    Teddy
    Cleary

Can anyone elaborate on the following:

Palasia - how long is he likely to get 80 on the edge?
Faamausili - does he pass the eye test? When are Maguire and Fuimaino back?

Kinda tempted by Seyfarth, seems to have settled into a 35-40 min role with close to 0.9PPM. Unsure if Maguire switches Stefano into this role once he has some minutes under his belt in reggies.

Kennedy will definitely get increased minutes in RD13 and perhaps a bigger role if Lodge moves to Knights?

Pangai claims the Tigers meeting never happened.

“I never met with the Tigers, that’s the truth,” Pangai Jnr said.

“It‘s been a frustrating week with all the rumours going on.

“I just tried to play my best game on the weekend (against the Roosters) — I wanted to show the club and the fans that I’m committed to staying here at the Broncos.

“There were rumours going around at the start of the year about my future, which made clubs contact my manager. I’m not a free agent until November so right now it’s not in my interest to be negotiating with other clubs anyway.

“I’m also on probation so I have to stay out of trouble to keep my contract at the Broncos and stay in Brisbane.

“Brisbane gave me a second chance after my mishap last year, so how would it look if I walked out on them to join another club? I’m committed to the Broncos and even if other clubs are interested, it’s my preference to stay here.”

“I’m doing my best to stay out of the headlines. I have a family to think of,” he said.

“I am about to get married, my partner is 13 weeks pregnant so I have no plans on leaving Brisbane.

“I also have my younger brother here, he has one more year of high school and I am looking after him.

“I promised my parents when Jermaine moved up here that I would care for him, so I have a duty to look after his welfare.”

I 100% agree. My comment was a bit unclear. There is NO WAY I am selling Cleary over origin.

Really sounds like he has had a big reflection on himself and finally realised he needed to change some things on and off the field, whilst keeping his aggression on the field which is good. 12 months ago he would've gotten carried away with that game on the weekend and probably be spending some time on the sidelines. Love how he has dedicated himself to the Broncos as well. Really good from the guy there.
