For me he can become Harris with 300K change. It's not that silly if he is out a few weeks. I have Burton too which is a decent buffer.

Cleary is more then $300k more expensive than whoever you trade in for him

Not spending that bank will be the key factor, but it will exist

Chammas: Nathan Cleary will be sent to see a shoulder specialist. Scans last night weren't the best.

If he requires surgery immediately it could be season over. Penrith hoping he could wait until after season for surgery (if req) Big 24-48 hours ahead.

As a general observation, Cleary out is a disadvantage to the top teams that have harvest cashed well, as it provides a cash boost for a lot of teams to upgrade players, that the top 100 did weeks earlier.

If I ended up having to sell Cleary, to the next best half, probably Hughes it’ll leave me with $600k in the bank. But, I don’t have many players to upgrade further. If that makes sense.

Well, if Cleary is gone for the year, at least it will make captaincy choices a lot more interesting for the rest of the year.

I would be keen to pick up DCE or Hughes if Cleary is out.

Almost no matter what happens, I'm going Brailey > Verrills this week. Really don't think I can hold Brailey for the rest of the season and 622k is a good amount to bank. Hoping Verrills can put up 40s as a decent reserve.

Cleary out does probably make for a more interesting game overall. Also solves my problem of how to get Turbo and DiFi back in. Hmmm.

From a selfish fantasy perspective, I’d like 3-6 weeks as it forces decisions. I mean, I’d take the wrong one but at least it’ll be interesting

I guess it’s also better for Cleary, so let’s hope for that
