    Before Cleary
    captain points - 70 (Fifita?)
    Gun 1 (e.g. Moses) - 55
    Gun 2 (e.g. CHN) - 50
    TOTAL = 175 points 70 * 2 = 140 + 55 = 195

The difference between say a Gamble to a Moses is just $210k, so even if Cleary went to DCE, you'd potentially be able to upgrade another player by 10 or so points too.
It certainly get's closer, maybe 210 vs 190-230?

I personally don't think Cleary averages 95 in the remainder of the season (anyone feel like an avatar bet?).

It's almost a toss of a coin (in truth I haven't decided which way I'm leaning either)

EDIT: I may have read this wrong - but think maybe with the other After Cleary one's should be Cleary + the difference in extra captaincy points?
I'd happily avatar bet Cleary averages sub 95, I'll go as low as sub 85.

If you can swing it, a guy who fluctuates between 70's and 20's makes the perfect player to loop in from #18th man.

That being said, I'm probably holding Laurie as a backup for the forseeable.

Average vs "the big 5": Panthers, Storm, Eels, Rabbitohs, Turbo Eagles = 32 (inc 4 tries from 7 games) -> 2 games to go
Average vs "the rest" = 47 (inc 2 tries from 9 games) -> 6 games to go

Thanks mate, that's a good point regarding being 18th man. Will be hard to loop this week as I have 21 green dots for the first time in forever although decent chance this changes due to origin.

Matchups this week is also factoring in a little bit. RTS vs Panthers and Laurie vs Broncos. Can't remember who the poster was but someone mentioned WFBs averages against Panthers is low and against Broncos is high.

If there was a poster of the day award I'd give it to you. Your advice today has been top notch.

Cheers mate. I feel Avo is a luxury trade though, even with a high BE he's a lock at CTR and will avg 40-50 for the yr. RTS low BE ensures he has another week.

I'd be keeping CHN personally. Seems like a lot more players barking at Schuster's heels then CHN. Also, calf injuries have a reasonable recurrence rate. So with trades at a premium I'd go the bloke more likely to make it to Round 25 over the bloke who's team is travelling better.

I was the one to make it 7-6.

My 2c are that with 3 trades remaining you really can't justify trading out your healthy DPP CTR who plays for the second best team in the comp.

Get Fifita in and save those last 2 trades for if something bad happens.

Mate it would literally take over 5 million bucks to make me do a nudie run. I love my job as a teacher way too much, and cannot see a scenario where I keep that job haha

Alternatively id do it for 3 more trades

He's a winger, so Best won't affect him.
Also, a big body, which means he's above Musgrove (who's a total spud) and was willing to take some of the tough carries out of their end.
I think the wing spot is his to lose now.
Yes, he's pricier than the other cashouts, but his DPP makes him very handy.

    Howdy Bludger,

Thanks for the insight. Haven't really seen much of the Knights this year. I just have nightmares of the musical CTRs/WNGs Newcastle seemed to play a lot of last season. Job security is kind of a big deal.

Has anyone seen any indication or confirmation of who will be kicking for NSW tonight? Latrell or Moses?
Will make a big difference to DFS projections so would be super helpful if anyone could help. Thanks!

Showing your hand a bit too early with the Cruiser's mate. I would have saved them till we reached an impasse.

Hard to predict anything to do with the Broncos. Maybe.

If Kobe keeps playing well he might hold the spot though. Pangai aint gonna be there next season (it seems?)

    Currently working with this:

    Hunt
    Haas, Watson, I Pap
    Fifita, Crichton
    DCE, Moses
    Ramien, Burton
    Ponga, Gutho, To'o

    Brailey, Teddy, C.Walker, R.Smith
    B.Kelly, Leniu, Marzhew, Blore

    3 trades left. I'm looping B.Kelly via Blore/R.Smith

Hoping to finish the season strong. Not sure what to focus on improving next. High chance i need the 3 trades for injuries i guess

My thinking was Laurie's spot is a backup WFB. So he sticks around all year as backup or gets cashed out to a cheaper WFB.

It might be as simple and obvious as what you've said and I'm overthinking it.

Not really, as I had him down as my backup WFB for the year also but thinking now of cashing him to Schoupp to turn Peach into Fifita instead of Matto.

This week I was planning to do Nikora -> Ponga as he seems to have lost his spot and also was never really a keeper. Also weary that I only have very limited cover for Mid/edge in only iPap.

    Thanks crew

You're keeping Cleary and you got 400k+ in the bank still wow. Hmmm you could keep that cash spare for someone like Tohu on his return which would improve your forward depth.

You really just need to upgrade Nikora and get a playing EMG in for Mbye or Kelly to save your team, you only need to hang on 2-3 rounds more until Cleary is back. One red dot for the rest of the season isn't great but with 5 trades left it might be necessary.
