Currently tossing up on whether I can get Cleary back in or not. I think it affects my depth too much if I get him. Current plan over the next 2 weeks is:

    Watson(Or Brailey)/Croker/Hynes to Haas/Ponga/Papali'i with 3 trades remaining, ~150k and Schuster at 18th man.

Instead one of those could be a cashout to allow Cleary to come in, probably for Fogarty or Johnson, but would give me a 18-21 of Verills/SCrichton/Savage/Cashout, with 2 trades remaining and bugger all cash.

Better to go with the first option, right? Think that 18th man will get a fair bit of use on the run home.

I don’t think they’re more important or bigger than anyone else and their views I don’t see myself as above others.

Questions on if Cleary is worth owning will be alleviated the first game he plays on return. Currently averaging 30% more than next best player, who has had an unsustainable try scoring run and probably won't average 73 in the run home.

Glad to see everyone is coming around on Ponga after last night. It was only round 6 that Ponga was "built for fantasy" and "a must have". After some time off it's easy to forget how incredible a player he is which translates to fantasy. Really elusive and has late footwork which means it's hard to get a good shot on him so he gets plenty of those bounce of tbs. Great play maker in the red zone as well so should be among the attacking stats

Wasn't looking at the forum while SOO 3 was playing.
Just enjoyed the Sutton show with my 13 year old son - who proceeded to punch the crap out of the sofa every time Qld got a cheap penalty.

The Bludgers observations of the game:
Needless to say - that was a BS game ruined by the ref.
Obviously instructed to give Qld a leg-up: how many 6 agains??
How many penalties for Qld and ignoring the exact same offence against the Blues.

A bit salty as I really wanted to see a white-wash to stick it into the Maroons.

On the other side, Ponga is a dead-set weapon. So glad he's a Knight.
Munster is a spud, my only regret is someone (Tariq?) didn't put one on him and knock that smug look off his face.

Loved Latrell & Gagai going at it.
Tino is a thug who should have been belted after his dog-shot on the Foxx.

Moses is not a SOO level halfback.

Well played Qld, you dragged the game into the sewer (like always) and got the win.
2022, if Cleary & Turbo stay healthy, you lot are toast. cheer

Ponga probably coming in this week unless we get news of late resting. I'd rather have the points on offer

NSW, with the embarrassment of riches they have, should be downright ashamed if they don't put 50 on Qld every game. That NSW has only won 3 out of the last 6 origin matches (against "the worst origin team in history") is frankly pathetic.  Razz Razz

Actually leaning towards Mahoney over Haas. Think they should average similarly and I need a hooker. Now need to decide if he's actually a big enough upgrade to Brailey to use a trade on.

I'm getting Mahoney this week - brought him in for Peachey (risking running with no CTR backup) - and keeping Brailey as 17th/18th man

Mate, @Rabbits21 - first and foremost, dont copy and paste posts from other forums - simple as that.

2nd - if you dont have the time, as stated above, then perhaps consider how many forums you are on / how much posting you do. Its always better to say one thing that is considered and thought through, than lots of things that are not.

I've defended you on here a fair bit mate, as have others, but this is the sort of thing that rubs people the wrong way.

Is he worth owning? Almost certainly. Is he worth tearing my team apart to get back in? Probably, but I decided last week not to and am a stubborn prick

Not sure why scoring 40 fantasy points in a winning team should alter anyone's opinion of him.

We all know he can have amazing fantasy games when he's involved and can also be completely disinterested. There's another fullback with that M.O who's 200k cheaper in a better team with a better draw who I'd be more inclined to gamble on, particularly as Ponga has lost the goalkicking bonus as well.
