So do we know yet why Lomax didn't sign the Affidavit about The weekend at Vaughnys?

Everyone is seemingly mad on the Mahoney train this week. I'm wondering if Hodgo is worth a punt? He will do more kicking now Wighton's out and is a lock for 80 mins in a team that's finding a bit of form.
40k cheaper.. anyone thinking the same?

I got him in round 16 and he’s been reasonably solid with the 60s. Wighton was already out for several of those matches and Frawley will kick so I wouldn’t expect a big rise. I’m hoping I’m wrong and he does improve scores but I’m not expecting it.

Team before trades this week. Wondering if I can hold off a week on trades?
7 trades and 500k left.
Mahoney
Haas, Lodge, Radley
Fifita, Wilton
SJ, ARey
Burton, Olam
Hynes, Teddy, Walsh
Watson, Schuster, Brailey, Latrell
Pappy, Verrills, Moses, Fog
Have a bit of flexibility this week to deal with the Hynes/Pappy situation. Will steer away from Turbo and hope my guys can keep it respectable over the last 7 games.
Thoughts on some options to improve? Or just save my trades for some carnage.

Hey mate I’ve also thought of just cashing out someone to a 228k player but then I’d likely have 2 red dots as 20th and 21st man (I have Suaali). I’m not sure with all the carnage that just having 19 green dots will be good enough especially in the 3 rounds or so when their is mass restings and injuries and we are down to between 0-1-2 trades.wolfking wrote:Mulvy's advice about getting Cleary back had me thinking of how I can do it. I was contempt to let him go but I probably can make it happen. If I wanted to do Moses/Fog to To'o this week it could still work. 6 trades so;
Moses/Fog - To'o - nets me 44K left.
Next trade would be Burton to 228K. I have figured Burtons price at 550K. Shouldn't drop that much this week but his centres scores aren't that great. After that trade plus 44K I would have 366K.
Next trade I'm looking at possibly would be Verrills to a 228K. This would mean Verrills raising 10K, which should be fine.
Then Cleary would come in for Hynes but in round 21. This would mean Hynes maintaining his price though, which is risky. Although, hopefully Cleary drops a little, but a lot needs to go my way. Doing all this means I can keep Fog as 17th man and Peach and Laurie as 18th and 19th man. Would leave 2 trades and hopefully this team;
Brailey
Haas Tolo IPap
Fifita Crichton
SJ Cleary
Bird Manu
To'o Ted Walsh
AFB CHN Watson Fog
Peach Laurie 228K 228K
If it doesn't work, I'd keep Verrills and trade Laurie to cheapie depending on how much I need. Might get me a bit better depth if the player I trade plays every week. I've done a few other options, but this looks the best. other option is Mitchell over To'o for the extra 100K to play with if prices don't fall my way. Running with 2 basement guys though is risky AF. Keeping Fog or Moses though is interchangeable with Moses maybe back next week.
other option would be getting a different 17th man. Basically trading Fog/Moses instead of Burton but then using the fourth trade of my plan to turn Burton into a Radley or someone more reliable.

I’ve backflipped to trading out Fog over Moses. Really think the right answer will be what I don’t do

Definitely don't give yourself two red dots. Long way to go in the season yet.
Hopefully wolfie is meaning basement price players who are expected to play majority of the games (Chambers, Ieremia etc)

Tough one mate very tough. Flip a coin maybe.robelgordo wrote:I’ve backflipped to trading out Fog over Moses. Really think the right answer will be what I don’t do
Whichever one you think is back first I would hold.
I can do Tohu to Murray or Lodge I’m thinking Murray.
Then I have 4 trades left.
I can trade out Moses to but I can still hold and have an interchange of Walsh, Schuster, Brailey and Haumole this week. Is that still strong enough? Then re assess next week.
Then decide next week whether I go Moses to a Mahoney but I know I’d have to pay a bit more... or I also could do Hynes to a 228k player and upgrade Moses to Cleary. It would mean I wouldn’t have Mahoney and Ponga though and just 19 green dots rather than the 20 green dots if I opt to go without Cleary.
Re Cleary I have a feeling he won’t be back round 20 either and it’ll be 21 or 22. So maybe I should just forego Cleary. Will he be the same scorer is another doubt I have.
If they bring Cleary back round 20 Penrith don’t have much to gain out of it v the Storm other than the Storm hammer and expose Cleary’s shoulder and possibly make it even worse!

Pretty solid team. Can only really see the halves as a week point. I’m sure you are keeping the bank for clearly, could be worth trading Brailey up to DCE. Should need you 20ish points a week.
Are you running the gauntlet in the ctr too? Might be worth a dual ctr / WFB cash out to kee some cash free for Cleary too.

I would be saving trades. Let the picture become clearer next week on Moses fog pappy hynes. You should make more ground going over the top of tradeless teams than you will with maybe a 20 point upgrade this week as you have a decent 17.Liverpool_Bulldog wrote:Team before trades this week. Yeah, I am thinking basement price junk scorers that will lineup each week.
Rabbits is right though, regardless if they are a red dot or a 10 point scorer, I looked back and my plan is not without risk. Hence the Latrell alternate to gain extra coin as insurance. Man I love watching To'o though.

I'd probably just do the Tohu to Murray trade and hold. Unless you think Moses won't be back to his best and you want a points boost but it's risky.
