Old mate in 5th spot with 5 trades left and Cleary in the bank is in a good spot.

Wow Tigers really have a soft draw to finish the year aside from the Panthers game. Somehow they'll blow it and miss the 8.

Every team who have the Tigers will also think they have a soft game that week.

Douehi is still good value though.

What happened with McCulloch this week? I missed the game but was there any reason for the big drop in minutes?

The fact he's moving it suggests to him it was simply a dislocation and with good strapping he'll be good to go.

I think JTB being re-called is probably also influenced by Katoa and Sironen going off with a HIA last week, Tohu and Egan the week before and also Lodge getting suspended. tl;dr: don't read into this meaning AFB is done.

Hmmm....this would be most welcome news.

Manly also have a good draw and are on a roll. DCE would be hard to pass up

Clune was on the bench and spelled him. As a fellow owner I'm hoping he can get closer to 80 as I don't think i can afford trading him.

Could 6 weeks of DCE or Hughes outscore 4-5 weeks of Cleary?

I'd rule out Hughes, no way he doesn't get rested as Storm at least have top 2 locked up.

DCE is tempting though. Still can't go past Cleary's ridiculous scoring even for a month.

    From Sydney Morning Herald

Nathan Cleary will undergo his first contact session this week as the Panthers’ superstar halfback pushes hard to make a miraculous comeback against Melbourne.

Cleary remains in huge doubt for Saturday’s blockbuster clash against the Storm in what is hoped to be a packed Suncorp Stadium, but the No.7 has gone right out of his way to at least put himself in the selection conversation with his around-the-clock dedication to rehabilitating his injured right shoulder.

The Penrith pin-up was expected to be sidelined for at least a month after he dislocated his shoulder - twice - and suffered a labral tear during Origin II, back on June 27.

Cleary is already passing the ball, setting new personal records in the gym with his leg weights, and has regularly been spotted shadowing his father, coach Ivan Cleary, in the middle of the pitch during field sessions.

The Herald was told by Panthers officials that Cleary would face his first acid test when he takes part in a contact session as early as Tuesday.

Cleary took part in some three-on-two drills last week, and also resumed tackling sessions with his “good” left shoulder.

Coach Cleary indicated after the 18-12 win over Brisbane he was prepared to play the long game with his son and not rush his return.

Fullback Dylan Edwards shared the responsibility with Fisher-Harris during Saturday’s win over the Broncos. Edwards was quick to put the red pen through Cleary playing against Melbourne, saying on Monday: “He’s running well ... he’s ticking the boxes, so hopefully [only] a couple of weeks [before he’s back]. He’s not a chance this week….”

So in the one article, he's gone from huge doubt, doing contact drills, then no chance..

Kinda reads like a wt season. No chance at the start. Win a few games have some hope. Mid season collapse which = season over.

Although didn't get to enjoy it as spent all day and night in hospital with a kidney stone. Worst pain I've ever felt in my life. Zeo stars do not recommend.

I'm going to be off work for a couple days so I'll get the banners done when I've had some rest.

Mate that's shit, I'm a kidney stone veteran. 4 separate attacks over the past 6 years.

First time I legit thought I had been stabbed in my sleep.

I had my 4th go last year, I ddint even go to the hospital this time. I just sweated it out and grinded my teeth for a few hours.

Long story short, change your dietary habits and if you are not a big water drinker make sure you are now, otherwise you will end up like me.

That's how I described the pain, being stabbed in the spine.

I'm a massive drinker of water, probably have 3-4 litres per day. What I think did it was a whole day of drinking White Claws and no food. Just dehydrated as fuck.

I still haven't passed it yet but holy fuck do I not want that pain ever again. I don't think I've cried from pain ever, I was screaming like a banshee.

Surely Cleary isn’t worth 300k more than DCE as things stand right now?

Yeah mate. Dehyrdration is the killer  3 of my 4 were after big days of exercise/being active. Fucking 2 days in the yard did it last time.

Passing it is not as painful as the first phase mate even though it may sound like it will be. Def uncomfortable though and you will know when you are doing it.
