Cheers lads have been scroogey and have 7 trades left. I like the idea of Staggs as a bit of a POD.

Averages 41 at CTR, where he will play most weeks (except maybe R25 if there are restings)
Burton to Manu is paying ~80k to get an extra 1pt each week
I'm considering Manu in (not sure who for yet). Firstly, I need a CTR either this week or next (for Bird). Secondly, he's better than Averillo. Thirdly, Hynes is a trade-out at some point soon so I won't have a WFB backup for Trbo/Teddy/Walsh.
If I'm going to burn a trade to play 17 when Bird is out, I'm going to do it on someone who is more useful than that one week.

From NRL Physio re AFB.Honeysett wrote:If AFB is out I could put Crichton into the MID but means playing Niu and Walsh. Hopefully Fog is back I'd rather play him.
Appears to have good movement, increases hope for a dislocation as opposed to a fracture. Quicker recovery if so.

Tom: Hey Connor, what's on for the weekend?
Connor: Not much mate, just scoring 69s.
Tom: Nice, did you like my pun?
Connor: What pun?
Tom: Never mind mate because what's on right now is the 69 update for the week.
Rd 19:
- C Watson (Knights) 80min
- T Burgess (Rabbitohs) 46
A two-fer this week with Watson joining Thompson and The Cheese in the double 69 club this year.
The other scorer, Burgess, proving yet again the Rabbitohs are a powerhouse when it comes to scoring 69s.
Well done all around.
Year to date total: 40
Average per round: 2.1
Roosters yet to register a 69.
Rabbitohs have the most 69s with 6.

From listening to NRL physio podcast, he sounded remarkably optimistic about AFB either being back MAYBE this week, but highly likely next week.
The fact he's moving it suggests to him it was simply a dislocation and with good strapping he'll be good to go.
I think JTB being re-called is probably also influenced by Katoa and Sironen going off with a HIA last week, Tohu and Egan the week before and also Lodge getting suspended. tl;dr: don't read into this meaning AFB is done.

Hang on, how come they don't know by now if it's a dislocation or fracture? It's been days.Chucky wrote:

An AFB miracle recovery would be handy.
Could then do SJ -> DCE, Hynes -> Turbo, Macca -> Cook/Smith/Mahoney + 2 trades for injury. Not too bad.

I might do Tohu to Doueihi...Wests have a great finishing draw which should yield a lot of points for Doueihi but can I trust Madge to keep him in the halves. With 3 trades left Doueihi can be purchased with 1 trade but DCE needs 2 trades. Thoughts & thanks.
