If he's ever cleared, Turbo/Foran/DCE/Fainu would be one hell of a spine. Manly already flying, imagine if they had a quality hooker.

I'm staying strong on waiting for Cleary to return and bringing him back in.

Nothing has really changed on his return date. So having been patient and held the cash reserves for so long only to change course now seems like a bad call.

Significant delay because he wants a jury trial which can't be done in lockdown (which also creates a huge court backlog) seems fair enough.

Further delay because he's unavailable in June 2022 due to a Mormon mission outside Adelaide is, well, I reckon the big man upstairs would give you a pass on that one Manase.

You must have so many trades to consider this. I don't really think there's too many options at CTR that won't score exactly like him - 40+ when he scores a try, 20ish when he doesn't. But Panthers/Burton will score a lot of tries

Unless you want to save 150-200k and downgrade CTR to do a bigger upgrade somewhere else?

Ramien or Gagai also good options. Ramien may get less opportunity without SJ but has a solid base. Gagai will rack it up for Souths no doubt

See I reckon Manu is a terrible option at 632k.

Averages 41 at CTR, where he will play most weeks (except maybe R25 if there are restings)

Burton to Manu is paying ~80k to get an extra 1pt each week
