Good shit. Always good to follow trends and trend says he will see 10 minutes rest at most in the last round.mrbrownstone wrote:

Tricky one, it feels wrong to take it off a guy who just scored 100 and is playing the Dogs. Then again, if he's not going to play 80 it felt like a bit of a get out of jail free card. Tempted to switch to Haas.
This is kind of my thinking. He scored 45 with a try against the Eels, but monstered St G and could do either against the dogs.

I've captained Fifita the last two weeks. I'll be switching to Haas this week. Just think Haas is more reliable instead of hoping Fifita can run amok again in sub 60 minute games.

Could be the trick to unlocking his power though? Knowing he can go hard out for 20 minutes, then have a 20 minutes rest at half time, then only has 40 minutes of footy to get through.Mr Snrub wrote:

I am tempted to captain Mahoney.
FOR
1. Will be a game played through the middle. Both sides have big packs and it'll be a battle of the forwards tonight.
2. 95% humidity means their will probably be some tired big boys out there towards the end of the halves tonight too so could be some space in the middle.
AGAINST
1. Will Smith on the bench means Mahoney is only seeing around 70 minutes a game...

Grant 0.04% ownership in the top 5,000. Could be a great POD if he ever gets back to starting.

Mahoney, Teddy, Radley and Verrills first up tonight.
Hoping for a tough forwards battle and Teddy bagging a couple

Haas captain again for me
If he’s playing around that 70 min mark again, it’ll be smooth sailing
No Flegler as well + 2 interchanges on HOK means Haas plays big mins

One of the few capable of going 100+. If I had trades I'd be on

Plan is to get him for Macca next week if Macca doesn't play 80 again.

Want to see his minutes increase first... although don't see it happening this year. I think Bellyache sticks with Smith starting the first 20 and then Grant finishing out the game with the Grant/Smith 1-2 punch in the second half.multiple.scoregasms wrote:

Waiting until next year, Grant will be my first picked with BS9 looking likely to become BS13 and Grant playing 80.
EDIT: Plus I think he takes a couple weeks off the bench around 30-50 minutes having not played for 2 months. Just IMO

Wouldn't rule him out entirely. Grant 50-70 mins average is 55.5 (avg of 59 mins in those games). His 70+ avg is 60.9 (all 80 min games). He's still capable of scoring well in less than 80.

If he jumps into the starting line up I’ll take a punt on him

Prior to lockout all you can get is overall captaincy stats for the whole comp. Its a bit meaningless because Cleary is still number 1 by a mile, so its not always easy to tell who are legitimate captains and who are dead teams.
After lockout you can get a top 100/1000/10000 breakdown, which is more useful, but too late to do anything with.

For the community team - we need a CTR
The only poll option was Bradman Best - but in case people want to go someone else there is a quick poll to see if there are other options people would prefer

I put in a vote for Best. 411k for someone with some history of scoring well is hard to pass up.
Hope he stays fit

Surely you mean that Grant will be your second picked?
