for captaincy, I'm doubling down on Turbo this week, I think he'll go ballistic against the Sharks, and it seems him and DCE take turns scoring big.

Not sold on Cook. Other than his 100 last week, his scoring has been whelming at best. A lot of sub 50 scores including a few sub 40.

I’m getting twitchy fingers re doing Hynes to Ipap or Mahoney, only leaves me 2 trades though.

Other trade is SJ to Douiehi!

Would you pull the trigger on Hynes?

He has got two sub-40 scores all year. 1 in the first round of the year and 1 during the Origin period when one could say he was "keeping himself fresh".

If you look at his scores, not including the origin period R15,16 and 18 and not include is 101 his average is 58.75, then one could argue, well he still scored the 101, which pushes his average to 62 (when not including Origin.

Before the Origin period he was hitting 55+ with minimal attacking stats and a 50 and 47 chucked in there. Can easily average 60+ from here on out.

Base stats are there for him to hit 45 with tackles and tackle busts, all he needs is a couple attacking stats to push 55+ and he has that in him.

I was tossing up between him and Mahoney last week and just couldn't go with him based on his scoring this season (Even though he was cheaper). It'll be interesting to keep a running tally of how they go over the rest of the season, Cook has given himself a decent headstart with that 100 and could hit some form despite showing no indication of it pre last week (maybe SOO?)

It was also interesting to see he had a higher ownership% when I was doing my shopping, but I am assumed that this was because he is more of a 'name' so is sitting in a fair few ghost teams.

Edit : Just checked and Mahoney has monster ownership numbers for top 100/1000 etc while Cook has consistent ownership (maybe reducing slightly as you get higher up the rankings) and sits at a higher overall %

Mahoney is going HUGE tonight. Last time he versed the Roosters he got injured early and will want to get a big win over their eastern suburb rivals! Captain Reed.

Going with captain Fifita and Ponga in for SJ, leaving me with 3 trades and ranked just under 4k. Holding AFB given he's a chance to return next week and could get big mins/points in a weakened Warriors pack with no Egan, Tohu & LAM.

Hard one. Would love to see if there are any late changes in the Storm side. Can you wait until next week? Can see Storm finding it easy against a Clearyless, JFHless, To'oless, Koroless Panthers side.

If I want Ipap has to be this week.

Otherwise I could hold Hynes and could sell to Mahoney or Cook next week!

    I’m so torn.

If Harry Grant plays I don’t think Hynes plays 80mins.

Make the trade. Ipap DPP probably the edge and still capable of big scores.
Hynes will need to be traded at some point and better get it done now rather than next week if your squad sees more suspensions/injuries and you get stuck with him.
