Are you guys curious as to why more people are trading in the guy averaging 72 compared to the guy averaging 23?

I have a theory as to why this might happen.

(I also traded in Trindall this week)

With 2 trades left, I have to keep him to save my 2 for injuries I guess.

He's an easy trade to trindall currently, but holding the 2 trades for safety of injuries to high cost players should take priority right?

He didn't score 72 last week and it seems a lot of people don't look at anything past the score like the team make up this week vs last

Yeah, true I guess it's a simple as that. I wouldn't have thought there would be many players like that still around playing this game. I mean, are people banking on Taylor getting dropped for Sexton if Fog is a late in? I personally don't see it, but you never know.

The more I think about it, the more I like Trindall. Should see a big uptick in base stats regardless if Moylan comes in or not. Solid half backup and means Hynes can be traded next week to any position I like.

Possibly for the first time all season, Cleary is not the top captaincy choice
Only took 4 weeks of not playing for people to drop off him.

If Broncos lose to the Cows, there's every chance the halves merry go round gets going again.

I think its more that people are scared off by Trindall's low average than excited by Sexton's high one

Once you ignore the low minute bench efforts he looks a lot better, but at a superficial glance Trindall won't appear on the radar for a closer look.

Maybe people are worried about SJ coming back early, or him otherwise going back to the bench, but all of that applies to Sexton too, so probably not a key factor.

Is this for all players or a certain range (top 1000, 5000 etc)? Thanks heaps for this, if it's for the top 5k and DFifita is captained by almost twice as many people I'll go Haas purely just for the pod play as it's a coin toss in terms of who will actually score more imo.

Who is everyone else going as captain?

Completely agree.. I think that's why i'm talking myself out of the Kelly -> trindall trade.

I recall Kelly was first choice half not so long ago, with Gamble dropped for KHunt. He will be back.

Yeah, who knows. His scores in 80 minutes aren't great but the 24 is the same game SJ got his 22 so that might have been an anomaly. I think he can easily push towards a 40 point average the rest of the year.

Mulvy was saying too the other day the risk of Trindall dropping back with Moylan back in, but I don't think that's a risk at all.

Haas. But as the others said, the team changes aren't necessarily good for Haas. The Broncos need to be competitive for Haas to score well and warrant him not getting an early shower. You saw last week when they were in the game he went to another level to lift his team. Against the Cows though, teams are somewhat similar so it should be a decent contest.

Tonight I have Crichton, IPap, Manu and Ted. Verrills in a loop too. Not that confident in Manu tonight but being on the wing, hopefully he's my new To'o.

Sexton slightly cheaper and last week's score probably a factor. He could be a good pick, but I'm not confident that his spot is secure when Foggy is back.

Trindall's averaged 34 from 7 games playing 80 and GK in 4 of them. Should see a KM boost with SJ gone, so maybe averages around 40? 38 to 44 or so? Not a bad draw, so maybe goes on the higher end.

It's a massive gamble, especially since they play Sunday.
