Yeah, I'm banking on Cleary also for a big one too.

Being selfish since I have a full squad, hopes IPap doesn't play.

    Some relevant late mail:

    Hughes:

"With Ryley Jacks named on the bench, expect coach Craig Bellamy to give Jahrome Hughes a bit of a rest ahead of finals."

    iPap:

"Shaun Lane will need to pass all concussion protocols to take his place in the side after suffering a head knock last week. Isaiah Papali’i would likely move into the 17 if Lane isn’t given the green light to play."

    Manly:

"Tom Trbojevic, Jake Trbojevic and Daly Cherry-Evans will play but may get subbed off, according to The Daily Telegraph."

    Avo:

"Jake Averillo is racing the clock to be fit with a foot injury, but given there is nothing on the line for the Dogs he may be given a week off."

I’ve got him and can only field 16, and I still want him out. Having him come in won’t help me, more likely to get benefits of having decent back ups

Yeah, iPap 90.4% ownership in the top 5000, so probably not that helpful if he plays or not.

    Hi TheLastDodo,

Thank you for your question. I feel it's probably most appropriate if I answered this question. Whilst I'm sure the other mods would love to have jumped in to field this question they're simply too busy or licking their wounds, whatever losers do.

You see it was I who won the Mod League... For the third time. In what is becoming the dynasty of Honeysett. Although it pains me to say that had I faced Random on any other week, he would have knocked me out. Luckily for me he didn't and we'll, he didn't. Some of us are born for the limelight, some of us thrive when the going gets tough. They say diamonds are formed under pressure and well the proof is in the pudding.

If you would like a signed 8x10 I'm more than happy to send one out to you

For anyone down on numbers, like me playing 14, it makes a big difference

In fairness to HS and based on my experience, it is extremely difficult to keep your ego in check when you are just so fucking outstanding.

Yep. of those 90% there'll be a good number who might get an extra 10-20 points replacing someone in their 17 with Ipap.
People like me would love to have Ipap play and be able to play 15! Laughing Crying or Very sad

Strange wording here. "Give Averillo the week off" good idea - keep him fresh for finals.

It's a big advantage for people playing less than 17, it's a big disadvantage for those who can field 17. For teams running a full squad, having a percentage of teams around them fielding 15 or 16 players, 90% of those teams automatically getting an extra player really hurts those who can field a full team without him.

Try having him for the run home in 2019 and 2020. I would have killed for the scores he is putting up now in relation to those two years.

The one year I avoid him he puts up respectable scores and pumps out a 65 last week.

I bought him because of his draw and he's still been a touch disappointing with only 2/5 above 50 since I've owned him. Would love a big one against the Broncos.

Don’t know if this was posted already but from LS Q & A

    ………
You can expect to see a few changes to the game next season, most likely in the form of a few extra trades, but stay tuned this year for my end-of-season awards and an early look at some of the potential bargains for 2022.

I don't like this. I found all the carnage this year made the season a lot more exciting and people will change their strategies next year to adjust if there is the same amount of trades.
