I'm tempted to trade in Young just to get it over with...as is the Aardvark tradition, I'm heading away for the last weekend of the season to a spot with dodgy reception so any loops or late outs could lead to very minor disaster

Can’t happen yet he’s in NZ and they’re in lockdown so we can’t get the jersey to him. It will happen in pre season early new year.

Fergo got dumped for Dunster because of defensive issues, but then Dunster is a rookie. So there’s probably no bad matchup there.

Still dunno if Too has as much upside as Paps. In fairness he probably has less down side too

I like Young and Crichton, but would have to trade Murray, who still has a 0.000001% chance of playing so don’t want to do that

Especially when they can just set max-trades=38 for a 2 minute effort.

Think this is very likely true. Also, 23-man squad would fundamentaly mean two extra cash cows which would mean greater likelihood of everyone picking the same cows to start the season, as well as the increased looping detailed previously. It's a tricky balance which they might feel is best addressed by doing nothing (except taking the two minutes to code for extra trades)

Yep won't happen.

I think I need to bring in Crichton with his MID dual. Gives me the best chance of playing 17 this week on the off chance that Avo, Papalii, Murray or Ramsay suit up. He's a solid enough trade in but it's a bit annoying because I really wanted to take a punt on Young.

Same, I had Roberts for a while because avo started in halves for me. Dabbled (burnt) with Cotric, got rapana for dpp coverage around the bys and never looked back.
