With NRL Fantasy releasing Thursday "Match Day" leagues does that mean those games are now no longer included in original fantasy (i.e. throughout the season) or is it another competition that runs concurrently?

It's just an added extra, something else you can win at.

Ah cheers Honeysett. I suppose they needed to make use of that match day tab on their website and app or ditch it, wasn't getting used much otherwise.

How many Thirsday night games are there this year?

It's good that the team's have people that train the young blokes how to talk to the media, but if I have to hear again how competition for spots is good and makes you train harder and push each other to be better, one more time, I'm going to scream.

    CP13 + Sue + Whitehead (three cows) and CLaw + Auva'a (227k spare)

    OR

CP13 + Sue + Whitehead + Cartwright with the same centrepairing

    OR

CP13 + Sue + Whitehead + CLaw with Croker and Auva'a in the centres?

Both last combos leave me around 40k

Don't know if this is news but West's tigers forum are pretty confident wing spot will go to Rankin.

"Which is why, three times a week, he and head coach Jason Taylor hang around on the training pitch long after everyone else has disappeared, together booting Steedens between the uprights."

What do we think of Rankin?

I thought this was pretty summed up a few weeks ago. I think at $179k he's a pass for a winger spot even if he does kick goals.

The fact that he is a DPP half is good to pair with Barba or Feeney but then begs the question why not just use Barba and Feeney?

Yeah I thought he was still fighting it out with Hunt and Addo-Carr, but now I've just read Hunt is out now (back/indefinite)

Exactly. You can't take it one week at a time for another fortnight.

I'm sorta hoping that Rankin does not a great deal but just enough to settle and cement himself in the side for the first few weeks.

Then, when Pearce comes back I can dump JNiko, DPP Feeney to an NPR half and bring Rankin in.

    Then he can go nuts!

Oh, and then to top it all off, dump Feeney for Te Maire Martin about round 10.

That Rankin talk was from before the weekends trial.

Personally I don't think I'll trust whoever gets the wing spot as I have doubted over their job security, (whoever it is)

theres an article on foxsports site about fensom, it says

Fensom is hoping to return to his 80-minute ways, especially now with the new interchange rules.

He feels the drop from 10 to eight will make the game faster and playing more minutes would help the bigger guys.

“The more athletic players you’ve got out there, the better you’re going to go,” he said.

he doesnt say anything specific about playing 80... he does say he's right for round 1..
