It was even more impressive than what you read. It came on the 5th tackle straight after another kick was put through and rebounded back. LAM then grubbered it, regathered, then laid it off for the line break that eventually lead to the try!
Nightingale interviewed him after and half the Dragons squad were sticking bottles and other shit in his face like it was an absolute media scrum to hear from Ah Mau

Are there any genuine "must haves" to start the season?

@Ratnick from the last thread. DL hasn't been on for a week or 2; DK signed up but had massive issues with the forum on his iPad and spat it. It's a shame, but no-one else has reported those problems so can only assume it was at his end, not ours. I hope he gets it sorted.
Gotta send Slatsy message soon about the forum. And will hit Rabs up, he just signed back up to Weapons after being AWOL everywhere for the last 12 months.

Wow, I managed to miss everything today due to other commitments.
Saw bits and pieces of the Parra/Panthers game but not enough to make any conclusions from it.
I just caught up with all the reading from today and by the sounds of it there were a few surprise performances and injuries in the games. I can see many fantasy coaches staying up half the night re arranging their sides after today's games
I made a few adjustments to my squad which I'll put up in the "rate my team" thread.

From a non-Fantasy Tigers perceptive mango:
Ted was sharp as, he was everywhere making up numbers in the line and setting blokes up. Lawrence was solid. Sironen looked like he's even bigger now to me but my stream was very average...and so was his work rate coincidently...Ava was awesome with his ball running, particularly off a couple of drop out returns. Cherrington apparently was very sharp and I rate him but didn't really notice, but was watching the Eels/Panthers at the same time. Nofo scored a brace but also made a couple of crucial errors that put us under pressure. Naiqama looked pretty good at centre; I don't rate him there and would rather CheeKam got a crack but he went well.

Thanks for the rundown SI.
Teddy's an absolute gun mate, he's a bit pricey at the moment and having him really upsets the balance of my team. By the way he's going though he needs to get snapped up soon before he gets out of reach.
Siro's a plodder, I've never rated him as a footballer, just doesn't work hard enough. He'd be lucky to make first grade if he played for any other team!!

Fifita & LAM
or
Bromwich & Graham/Woods
I'm leaning towards the first one, scoring should be similar but Fifita is an animal and can go huge while LAM is handy with his dpp.

Gee you only have to miss a day or so around here and you gotta read thru 20 pages... thanks for the updates of the trials.
- Sounds like Barba did well, I'm taking him for now
- Tedesco starred but we'll expect backs like him to have 'spectacular' games so you'd not want to be overawed by the one showing. Top player though and valued at around where his average is likely to be.
- Good news for Liicha/Hodgson for HOK2. Any comment on Rein getting 80? He's probs a 50-55ppg player with 80.
- Hopefully Feeney wins the WFB, could be a cow.
Think both are great. Fifita is a genuine cap option each week and there is value in LAM. Personally I rate the 2nd combo better because they are keepers but would pair Woods/Graham.

I am not a risky player, but in this instance I would go with the higher ceiling in Fifita and Lam. Graham was on crutches after the game today in case you didn't know, but not sure how bad it is. Woods can't improve that much and misses the extra games through Origin; although Fifita may as well.

Woods named Tigers captain doesn't make you think he will get more minutes?

For me the most impressive player was Waqa Blake.
I had him for part of last year and he mostly looked uninterested but really looked like a different player tonight.
I won't be picking him though.
Interesting because I thought he looked super at the 9s
Maybe they just realise, this kid is better than whare so stop treating the backline as untouchable. No reason Blake can't nail down a spot

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 7
I'm fairly certain that I'll be running with Bromwich and Woods as my starting FRF. Trying to figure out if I should keep my third prop cheaper with likes of Packer or Matagi, or spend the extra on Evans.
I literally can't see any value players in the 2RF under 300k which is very unusual. Hoping team lists gives us a better idea
