Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 7
Lawrence averaged near 45 pts 11-19 as 2RF with 3 tries but mostly base stats. Only 5 TBs total but only 1 MT per game average and 31 tackle and 103 metre average. That's 40 pts in base stats. No brainer for me. Have him at 2RF so easy swap out with Aubo at CTR when Cordner back. Only issue is injury record but look at Teddy last season

The jump from Aubs to Croker is only 36k, i've got some spare $$$ so if Aubs backfires Croker will be my failsafe I just hope Aubs gets a few 80min rounds in the 2nd row

Where did Lawrence play after round 19 and what was his stats? Is he definitely going to get 80 because they seem to love Sironen and he seems to be an 80 minute man. If Lovett is in the team could he possible steal minutes of either one? Its a no brainer for Lawrence on those stats between round 11 and 19 but was one of Lovett/Sironen injured then?

Round 19 -
2nd Row - 79 minutes
44 pts - 31 tck (31), 112 rm (11), 1 Tb (3), 1 MT (-2), 1 kick defuse (1)
I suggest you download milch's spreadsheet, it's very helpful
on injuries, Sironen did not play between R12 and R18. other than byes, Lovett did not play R2, 3 and 25

Wow page or 2 on Sironen and you're having a go at me for picking Ferguson
Easy pickings in the SUG this year!

Here is a list of 2nd rowers that averaged 80 minutes last year.
End of list.
Every forward got subbed at various points last year. Every. Single. Forward (OK. I tell a small lie. Damien Cook played 80 minutes in each of his 3 games. He is the only exception)
With the new interchange rules I expect that the list will not be empty this year. But no forward is guaranteed 80 minutes every week.
Lawrence will play big minutes. It might not be 80 every week, but he will be there or thereabouts. You should care more about his points output relative to his price than his minutes.

Seems like I'm the only one, but I'm thinking that DCE isn't the certainty for value that everyone says he is. I know that Foran wasn't fantasy relevant, but he was a damn good 5/8 and I reckon DCE benefited from his presence.
I'm not saying DCE's production will drop off a cliff or anything, but I'm taking a punt on it being less than stellar for the first month at least while Manly settle in a lot of new players in new positions.

Have you looked at DCE's historical scores with and without Foran.
Hint: his fantasy average is much higher when Foran isn't there

What are people's thoughts on Grevsmuhl this year?
With Sutton and Turner in the backrow increased game time probably looks unlikely unless there are injuries?
It's a pity he can't get a decent run, we could use someone like him at the Tigers, instead we're stuck with a plodder like Sironen.

Im putting Gallen in my team. I just like seeing his name there. Could be his last season, maybe he steps up from giving 110% to 120% this year. Maybe he gets injured. Maybe im a genius.

Unlikely he gets much with Clark, S. Burgess, Sutton and Turner there. Also the fact he is leaving next year will work against him.
