Not sure Jackson will cop a suspension, more of a workman middle, but I agree with the Hetho & TPJ risk. The Dog-house will cry unfair and complain that the NRL is biased against them. What do you think the odds of those 2 getting 4+ week suspensions sometime this year?

Yeah Jackson has not had many suspensions at all. Complete opposite. Until last years injury, he barely missed a game in his career.

I suspect the biggest benefit to his minutes will be in 2023 and 2024 after Hodgson leaves

Apart from the obvious risk to geo-political stability of a ticked-off Wookie, I think the biggest threat to stability in the West is cancel-culture. Not to get into politics, but the main reason liberal democracies work is the value we place on free-speech as a reflection of free-thinking. As soon as people are facing negative backlash, or even actual legal ramifications for holding a belief (or saying something) that others find offensive, we are in danger of losing the very element of our culture that has made it the dominant force for democracy over the past century.
Putin, China, Trump himself etc. are all operating under the assumption that the West (or the alliances as they once stood) have been disempowered and are no longer effective in creating and maintaining society's that offer the best standard of living possible for the most number of their populations.

Oh, that and the regularity with which the bunker stuffs-up NRL each week.

Souths trial team - Taaffe 1, Ilias 7, Paulo 3 with no competition from other first graders for those spots so should be same for round 1. Sele starting with Moale at prop, indicating both are likely down the pecking order behind Knight maybe. Havili 13 and Mamouzelos 9, so Cook unlikely to lose minutes to either come round 1.

Bit of a snub in that NRL write up on the Storm squad - mentions the sons of Matt Geyer and Sean Garlick on debut, but not the son of Rod Wishart on debut. I’m probably going to boycott Lone Scout articles over this.
