If it is Roberts you should avoid him too. If there is a $220k player starting round 1, without an immediate return of their replacement in the following rounds, they will make most sides.
Remember though it’s the Tigers we are talking about and Madge is under lots of pressure could see all kinds of changes after a couple of rounds.

Klemmer gets injured so King has to play 50 mins. I was impressed by his motor. He was taking multiple hitups in a set and ran for about 200m.
Not saying he'll play 50 mins for Melbourne but good to see he can handle the extra mins
Beth thinks he will get around 35mins maybe even 40 some weeks. If he gets 35mins he goes at around a ppm there is value there.

I have Bullemor currently but I may end up with J. King too.

The Dogs draw is horrid between rounds 3 and 6 I think they could be on the back foot a lot and Burton settling into a new team might start slow that’s what is tempting me to maybe look at picking him up in round 7-8 for hopefully under 550k when their draw gets so much easier.

Trials will tell us more though re how much long kicking he does etc.....

Draw shouldnt matter with Burton, if he dominates the kicking he's going to average 40+ points from base stats alone

Thankyou ya big bundle of fluff! Was hoping to post more through the day this Season but my IT guy at work didn't think a Fantasy Forum was a good enough reason to unblock the page.

I am still looking forward to his sublime improvement as a real-life player this year but as a fantasy option, he is not much chop. Crichton really is a no-brainer

One thing on here mate. Everyone is wonderful and genuine with their advice but sometimes going with the crowd can lead down the wrong path. Takes everyones advice seriously but always trust your gut and go with a pick if your heart is really set on them.

What's worse, seeing Blake score 20 in week 1 yet you backed yourself, or not going with him and watch him score 70 in week 1. Think about which scenario would hurt more.

To be fair, I too don't think Blake is the best pick, but I've made some blunders in my time.

The best thing about Blake, is if you are wrong, he is a free downgrade to the $350k CTR that killed it.

Some love for James, if he gets starting prop round 1.
Not so much for Moeroa. May get a spot in some teams in EMG if he gets a start in round 1 when Storm are down on troops.

Haha, it's been a rough few years for both of us! Mind you, you had a cracker DT year the one before last didn't you, or is my memory getting even worse? Travelling well over there I trust?

Lemuelu is training at EDG. He says that Luki and Nanai have the 2 EDG spots currently in this interview https://www.nrl.com/news/2022/02/16/lemuelu-ready-to-call-second-row-home-long-term/

    No mention of Gilbert.

King is certainly the front runner to be this year's Leniu

Not really, but last year he averaged 51 under old kicking rules including 2 goals per game where Val is kicker, priced at 43 you gotta be looking pretty hard to see value over your Nichos or Burtons or Sextons at similar price points

King has a very good motor, great PPM and he will likely start at lock. He won't get as many minutes as Finucane was, but only needs 35-40 mins to be value (priced at 26, 35-40 mins gets him to 35-40 points)
