At the start of Feb, over 80% of nsw based players had already had Covid. (almost all of the Broncos have as well..)

So not likely that we will see.. like.. half a team suddenly have to withdraw.

Can't be far off getting rid of these protocols anyway

They have relaxed the rules allowing players outside the top 30 to play. That is where the extra players will come from.

First few weeks might see a few withdrawals here and there.

One issue with Canberra last week was Sam Williams was ruled out due to positive test, and Frawley also had to miss the game as he was his roommate. They only found out on gameday I believe.

That sort of thing could stuff a few teams around, especially in the first few weeks.
As mtb said, by the mid point of the season a lot of these restrictions might have gone away anyway

Well the BBL last season had a pool of ex players still in club comps they called on at short notice

Cricket is more of an individual game, played as a team sport. Much harder to set this up for League.

My medium sized pool has been flooded with brown water from upstream and my gravel driveway is getting further and further away from my house as the rain continues. But we are heaps better off than many.

It was interesting in the Bulldogs trial game Averillo didn't gk instead it was Schoupp. The trial game this week will clear up who is the gk but if Schoupp is the gk that takes a bit of the shine off Burton.

At the moment the most I have is 3

I could potentially start with 4 titans (Fifita, Sexton, Fermor, Clark)

There's a few other teams with 4 players under consideration, but doubt I start with more than 3 for any of them
