    There appear to be a lot of good players out first few rounds.

    Lots of potential with Mids. But if you pick the wrong one you are left in no mans land unless you have cash in the bank.  It will be a diamonds and stones situation I think.

    At this stage lots of cheap cashies, but high potential to pick the wrong one. With the players out, there is a good chance of roles changing once people is back.

    Ridiculously high price of some players makes balance difficult if you want a set and forget captain option.

    I've just gone for 6 top tier guns (Haas, Angus, Fifita, Cleary, Papy, Teddy) and the rest of my team is cashies (all 350k or less).

    Guns and cows is the way to go if possible.

    I've gone a similar strategy. Basically trying to cement some season keeper guns + fill up the rest of the squad with value.
    5 guns, 2 mids + cashies

    Anyway I do not think I can start with him.

    Anyone else on Arrow 554k and will get DPP. With us having lost Su’a as well and the fact Arrow is on big money I really think he has to play bigger minutes. He will start on edge and then move to middle.

    Tevita should at least pay for the jersey

    Predicted Sea Eagles team: 1. Tom Trbojevic 2. Jason Saab 3. Brad Parker 4. Morgan Harper 5. Reuben Garrick 6. Kieran Foran 7. Daly Cherry-Evans 8. Taniela Paseka 9. Lachlan Croker 10. Martin Taupau 11. Haumole Olakau’atu 12. Karl Lawton 13. Jake Trbojevic 14. Dylan Walker 15. Sean Keppie 16. Andrew Davey 17. Toafofoa Sipley

    Explainer: Haumole Olakau’atu injured his elbow in the final trial and is expected to miss Round 1, which will see Broncos recruit Ethan Bullemor into the starting side and Andrew Davey on the bench. Josh Schuster will miss the opening rounds due to an ankle injury with Karl Lawton tipped to come into the back row. Josh Aloiai will miss the season-opener due to a three-game suspension. Kieran Foran pairs Daly Cherry-Evans in the ever-solid Manly halves, while Lachlan Croker retains his No.9 jersey. The versatile Dylan Walker will once again play the important bench utility role after being re-signed in the off-season and Toafofa Sipley will be on the bench. Tom Trbojevic will be wearing the fullback jersey after he made a brilliant first appearance in the trial win over the Tigers, with speedster Jason Saab on one wing and goal-kicker Reuben Garrick on the other. Forward AndrewDavey (knee) is due back in the trials, but is unlikely to force his way into the 17 for Round 1.

    Names Ben Marschke as starting Roosters hooker.

    Explainer: "Ben Marschke seems like the natural replacement however because he’s on a development contract he can’t play NRL before Round 11."

    They updated the Storm team to include B Smith following his suspension update. Then still mention that Wishart will start 9.

    A succesful cow gives you at least $150k worth, here's an indication of what your cow needs to average to reach that benchmark

    220k -> 29.7
    240k -> 31.3
    300k -> 36.1
    350k -> 40.2
    400k -> 44.2
    450k -> 48.2

    So a player like Nanai at 350k needs to average about 40 points to reach that value, someone like Luki in the same role at 439k needs to average about 47 points to make that $150k

    It's more realistic for Nanai to reach that magic benchmark, so keep that in mind when picking your players.

    @Bethany_B Luckily the judiciary realise TPJ is just trying to add to his jersey collection. But I will be steering clear of him until ...oh wait he play for the Bulldogs, never mind, just steering clear. Beer

    Of course anyone price 500k or more the aim is for the them to transition to a GUN keeper who will stay in your side all year.

    Selwyn COBBO is priced at 450 k through a selection of 7 games or so at CTR and the WNG. I have just made a bold prediction. Cobbo to be the breakout this year that everyone misses at the start of his run. Don't l;ook at the stats. This a a gut feel pick. The stats wont gove you answers you seek in any case

    I'd like to know which players are next in line to make your team, but currently arent selected. For me, i think Fermor, Amone, Latrell & Teddy are out of my current team but i feel like any of them are just an injury or change of heart away from being selected.

    There is a few options here.... You could either read the thread of collective wisdom... otherwise I hear

    William Kei; Josh Schuster; Cameron McInnes; Davvy Moale; Isiah Tass; Blake Taafe; Jack Howarth; Tom Gilbert and Tolutau Koula are worth a geez.

    Some great potential there

    throw in Cleary and Turbo and this is just an average pre-season autofill team

    @StormTrooper96
    Here is my team prior to me hitting clear on TLT Embarassed

    Grant/Randall/KHeth
    Cheese/Arrow/Uto/Leniu/AFifi
    DFifi/Nanai/Tuilagi
    Cleary/Amone/Ilias
    Penisi/Tago/Koula/Suaali
    Hammer/Critta/Savage

    I am happy to carry Cheese/Grant until R2. But Cleary missing might throw us all into a tiz come TLT, so no doubt it'll be hit reset on TLT.

    All the cheapies are not locked in and liable to get swapped out.
