He'll be in everyone's team if that's the case. Another bottom dollar cashcow to help the budget

Didn't see much running in that. Loves a cutout, bit like Sam Walker but less running it. Good short ball, holds the line up fairly well (could just be bad defence).

I'm seeing Pap in a lot of people's drafts. Thought he was injured to start the year or have i missed something?

THanks for the vid, Matt. Looks like he has a knack for being in the right place at the right time/backing up in support. Not a lazy player. I like it.

Will be interesting to see what his role is in the side next to Wighton and how much kicking he gets in.

If it's between him and Walters then I'm probably getting rid of Walters.

Roughly 48 average include 6pt GK (would probably not be handed GK as rookie with Croker) but low KM which would probably go up

He’s 240k does it matter if he gets the spot

I just did exactly that, removed the hopeful Walters pick and replaced with the guy that should have the job ongoing.

Its more working out what he is going to be like next to Wighton and if he is starting 17 material or not. Looks to be a better option than Ilias in the 17.

Only averaged 76 kicking meters, could be huge for Wighton after a down year last season.

Newcastle also announced the re-signing of winger Edrick Lee, who will return to the Knights for the 2022 season, while also promoting Leo Thompson to the top squad from his development contract.

That’s 8 starts and 3 interchange too, so starting avg likely a fair bit over 50

He’s clearly a no brainer selection if he starts. Looking like a solid 40s half at a minimum

EDIT: although just saw 76 KM…
EDIT2: take out Bench appearances and it over 100km, but he definitely kicked a lot less than his halves partner (Sam Williams?)

He and Sam Williams didnt start in the halves together even once. They were each playing at different times.

Frawley was at 6 and had most of the kicking, averaging 211 km through the season and 212 km when paired with Schneider as starting half.

    I'll take anyone in a 1-13 Jersey that's 240k at this point.

    Lol^

BTW I was more about the KM in terms of projecting whether he’d be a good cow or a great cow.

    If he starts, he’s in

And yes, I have heard of Kane Elgey

One thing i've noticed from a lot of teams being posted is the lack of cover for WFB's on the bench/EMG's.

Do we think this is down to so much cash cow values on the mid/edge/ctr's, or because the WFB area is just so grim?

Personally I think coverage is pretty over rated to start the year. I don't want to pick a crap cash cow just to cover for a position that dishes up 20s and 30s anyway

Need to put the Kane Elgey comparisons to bed in regards to rookie halves and fantasy scoring. He is a rarity in terms of his poor scoring
