Who's this Rocco Berry character, and what is this chat about him doing pretty well in the trials against Melbourne?

I re-watched the last 15mins of the Raiders-Manly trial to get a glimpse of "Herr Schneider".
I don't know if the Raiders need another headgear wearing player in the team, they should only be allowed one per team.
On another note, he did look ok, despite the wet conditions. Not enough to write home about though, but if he does get the gig, I'm more than happy to plant him in the EMG.

Just a reminder to vote for the community team
https://www.nrlfantasyfanatics.com/t1821-community-team-initial-team-votes
The thread there looks lonely, but I take votes via PM
the more people vote the merrier.

Lads, is it worth to spend all your cap money for round one or bank some to bring in guns later?

Jeez there's some ordinary defence in those Brad Schneider NSW Cup highlights. Still an autopick if named at 240k but hmmmm.

it's not a bad idea to have 100k or so spare to enable a bit of trade flexibility after round 1.

This question gets asked every year and usually gets rather varied responses, so don't try and look for a consensus. In previous seasons I've been a fan of trying to keep up to 100k but never seem to manage it. This year I'm not even trying, I'm always short of what I want, just seems harder this year.
As a general rule, I think the best strategy is to pick the players you really think are the best value and if that leaves somewhere between 0 and 150k left over that's okay.

Having exactly 0 isn't a great idea
Lets just say you pick the wrong guy out of the $350k cheap CTR/WFB and round 2 you want to swap to the better choice
Unfortunately your guy is now $340k and the guy you want is $360k.
I personally don't like having huge amounts in reserve, but ideally have more than 0.

It may stem back to the hype around Suaalii making his debut last year. They both played in their high school championship rugby team together. And the talk at the time coming out of the school rugby circuit was, If you think Suaalii is gonna be good, wait till you see Will Penisini. I believe he was also captain. Bit abstract for fantasy, but who knows how things get started.

what I usually do is downgrade one of my players from the Sunday games if I need urgent money for trades in rnd 2.
