Arrow 45 (min) to 50 (best ever scoring)
Lolo 55 (min not playing injured) to 65 (back to his best)

    I don’t see Lolo avg 65. I think he gets around 58-59mins.

Actually very easy to find. Arguably easier than typing out a definitely not at all sexist comment about how you hate the womens shit (which only goes for like 6 weeks)

It was half helpful lmao. clicked a video of jamie soward labelled nrl news. anyway, long story short, turns out he the womens dragons coach...

Wont be in our best 17 initially mate. Will feature at some point though. Will start getting good mins in reserve grade has not played much against men yet. But yeah he as a bright future.

    Likely Souths bench:

    Host
    Tom
    Sele
    Havili/Chee Kam.

Should pick up a few games around origin with Murray and Arrow out and possibly towards the end of the season. Won't get a crack this year but will probably be a buy in 2023 with Nicholls leaving

The only time he made a lot of teams was in January, when people were making teams off gut feelings, hopes and the autofill button. Now we have some trial data behind us there is no sign that he will be an option to start the season.

I am now liking Mahoney as my hooker

Want a reliable option instead of just Randall.

Grant is good at $80k cheaper, but misses round 1.
Cook and Grant both play origin.

I don't think Cheese is a great option - scored a lot of tries last year to boost his average and think he'll find it hard to go much past that. Plus doesn't score quite enough to be a keeper.

Mahoney has no origin (although misses first bye despite mtb's site saying he plays it) can average 60+. Eels have a good start to the season meaning there's every chance he can rack up some good attacking stats.

I just don't want to have to rely on Randall. If he goes down, or doesn't perform like we'd hope want to have an option without tearing my team apart.

I do like the Mahoney pick, but he isn't 100% safe from Origin, if Grant gets injured you'd think he's straight in.

Also beware of Rein on the bench, if that happens then Mahoney is a worse pick than Grant

If Grant gets injured, then he's hardly a safer pick than Mahoney Razz

With Demetriou being the coach at the Rabbits we may see a 80min Arrow on the edge...

I still think Cheese will be very reliable and he won’t play origin. I still think he can avg 54-55. Could be one I keep in my team all year or one who I upgrade in the run home.

Feel like there’s a decent chance rein or Arthur could be on the bench which would add some risk

Feel like all gun hookers might have interesting roles this year. Think I'll start with none and evaluate who looks the best after 3-4 rounds. Leaning Grant > Mahoney > Cook.

I just watched the Dragons NRLW game, my 5yo was excited because it’s the first time he can remember watching the Dragons win. Which was both heartwarming and depressing

Tried to stack my starting team with players I would like in it. Ended up with:

    Randall
    Uto Arrow King
    Fifita Fermor
    Cleary Sexton
    Burton Tago
    Papenhuyzen Hynes Crichton

    Nanai Amone Ilias Schneider

    240k x 4

Meant my bench is pretty light but if the right people show up on Tuesday I could end up with 11 potential keepers in my starting team

    Really interesting link.

The race stuff is really obvious once it’s highlighted, the stuff with the Aussie rules indigenous players described as “magic” is nauseating and that last para just smashes it. RL is less bad IMO but you have the stereotype of the Warriors playing unstructured ad-lib footy that still occasionally comes out.

Apologies if some view this as “politics” Rolling Eyes

I find it super interesting. And ultimately disappointing. Its also hard to find yourself not defaulting to the stereotypes described.

Agree that AFL is much worse for it. NRL is slowly improving.

These sorts of biases exist in all walks of life tbh.
