Big time. This is the most barren year I can think of since 2015. B Smith is such a great solution to the MID/Hooker problem this year but there's no value there. Maybe it's worth sacrificing the value for his utility and also extremely entertaining game? Wish he played R13.

Wait why is Stephen Crichton the second most picked player?

Ponga is the Mann but don’t think he will average more than 70-100km. I do think ponga knows he will have to be very involved and more active for us this year. Next part of his game he’s working on is to be more deliberate in backing up offloads and sniffing around the ruck in the middle third like a Teddy or turbo

Haven’t been at first grade training since Covid but more senior Physio is back with them so should have good info this year 👌🏻

    Alright 600k I’m in

I think BSmith is slightly overrpriced if anything. But the MID/HOK dual could be useful, and he's $100k cheaper than Mahoney, who I'm otherwise looking at

Averaged 35.8 last year, priced at 28. I think the 7points just got sacrificed to the fantasy gods cause there's not much rhyme or reason to it

Mate not every player has to make much money. The upside in Cheese is that he doesn’t play origin has DPP  and is one you hold for the year and play in your 14-17 in the run home. I love this kinds player in my team.

Because whoever at Fanhub put his price into the system mis-clicked and started his price with a 3 rather than a 4

I have no opinion on B Smith at this stage, but i think this is a very good point, that is sometimes overlooked

You shouldn't be getting downvoted for that.

I think the issue with guys who don't make money, is that ideally they are scoring close to 60

I think Cheese will get just under 50, so I suspect he'll lose a bit of money, and his scores will be just under what you want from a guy.

Still over the past couple days I've gone from no backup hooker, to Mahoney, and no wconsidering Cheese (if the money difference between him and Mahoney makes a difference)

Seems like we're thinking similarly Mr. Cow. At the moment my decision is between Fifita and a gun hooker, but currently have plenty of edge players up my sleeve. Tempted to go Cleary-less. That decision comes down to what I might be able to do with the cash once I have a final team post-TLT

    Current team is:

    Mahoney
    Crichton, Lolo, Utoikamanu
    Katoa, Nanai
    Cleary, Ilias
    Tago, Penis
    Pappy, Hynes, Critta

    Randal
    Bullemor
    Tuilagi
    Schneider
    A.Fifi (not confident, placeholder).
    King
    XCoates
    Jennings (placeholder).

    7k ITB.

Have playable cover for each position.

Anyone thinking of still going Kobe and just having no cover for 1 round. His price and covering 2 lines with few cheap bench options

Or do people think he might not get a spot now

Please join L5, you have the league codes, and apparently have opened the PM containing them. If you don't join soon your position will be given up to someone else

Hmmm... so where is this League 51 you speak of?

This will probably change on TLT, but currently have TEN players in 300-350k range. That seems to be where all the value is this year, but ten does seem to be bargain-chasing overkill.

Just can't see much value or security in the sub-300 range other that Schneider, so only have him and one other (King currently). Will eg Penisini make more money than Vailea? Probably. Will Nanai make more than AFifita? Coates more than Russell? Again, probably. And who are you happier to play in your 17 when required?

240s will crop up through the year when starting hookers etc get injured (look at Schneider this week) meaning you can cash out those who are stumbling, but year of the Premium Starting Ubercow.

Mate that’s a gun team right there amazing wow.

Does the fact Stone or Rein could be on the bench not concern you that Mahoney might not get 80mins?
