He will however be on my radar for a midseason pickup as most of those inconsistant scoring players (shaun johnson is another one) will have a bad game or two and drop in price.

Id love to fit tedesco in but like others have said just throws the balance of my team out. I would have to start players like barba and feeney or something similar to fit him in and keep a decent pack.

Intensity levels are so much different in the NRL. Playing for 2 competition points changes everything

haha I don't hate the Warriors JS but they have disappointed me so often when it counts I don't have much faith in them. They are traditionally slow starters & take 5-6 rounds to get going. Although it's easy to rectify bad trial form it's not easy to rectify bad habits & I would of thoughts a full strength Warriors team in the trial would of put up a much better effort.

Tough choice. I'm leaning towards option 1 as Whitehead or Rochow allow you to have a solid back-up scorer at the least in the 2RF while Option 2 is just as good you'd just have to hope Taylor gets some decent scores as your 4th reserve.

Is this team going to be killed by its light WFBs? Would have to play 3 of the 5, or 2 if Auva'a is named and I could switch Fergo back there.

I'm hoping for Teddy to have two quiet games in a row that'll significantly drop his value...and then time to bring him in. Also with a bad injury record you never know
Not so major here, but just read Moylan is hoping to be back by round 2
What's the game plan for bringing him in though. He is at such a high price already that two dud games won't be bringing him down to the same level as the pack, more just a reduction in the difference. Are you running with someone at the 400k range like Inglis, or are you doing what most are and running some combo that features Gordon, Fergo, Mansour etc... Because if you are you will still have to come up with somewhere around at least 100k to trade up so either you are starting someone who you are planning on using as a downgradeable gun or you are storing a fair bit of cash to start the season with.

After a bit of thought I might end up not starting with Teddy.
Might make it hard to bring him in, but can't see him rising too much in price, so will take a punt on one of the $300k guys and hope I can raise enough elsewhere to close the gap.
Just allows me to be much stronger elsewhere.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 8
I know that getting ppm kings is a strategy that can often backfire.
but Nelson Asofa-Solomona played 10 games last year. 5 of them were 15 minutes or less (averaged 14 points). The other 5 games he played 30-40 minutes (34.4 points, including 1 try)
Priced at 24. If he can maintain 30 minutes plus each week this year then looks good.
Problem with these guys is they end up keeping their 15 minute cameos and they suck for you fantasy wise

Anyone know what the Centre depth at Storm is like? I think Harris is good for 55 average, but worried about him being transferred to centres again. So how many players have to go down at the storm for this to happen again?

Will Chambers Cameron Munster should be first 2 when fit.
Cheyse Blair, Curtis Scott, Jeremy Hawkins are the depth. Not sure what preferred order is and where Harris fits in.
And is this supercoach? 55 is a touch on the ambitious side for Tohu to average in Fantasy

Has Tonumaipea ever played CTR? Or is he just a winger?

Yeah after typing I think I was a bit over zealous in my estimates. But I had Harris early last season and he was good for 50-52 points, I suppose the 55 is wishful thinking he will step up a bit more.
I cant check your spreadsheet to be certain at the moment as my comp is playing up.
Checking the NRL page I think he aint as good as I thought, beside his 2 try effort he never averaged over 50...so I shall ignore him for now

Weakest WFB I have seen posted by far. If Barba is named on the bench you are up a creek without a paddle.rhinoceroo wrote:Is this team going to be killed by its light WFBs? Would have to play 3 of the 5, or 2 if Auva'a is named and I could switch Fergo back there.
