There's no way you should be spending that much money on an NPR

I'd be a nervous wreck owning Turner, preying that he doesn't get injured.
So I reckon Paasi.

He said reserve so I'm assuming he means his bench player.
I reckon Paasi will actually do well. Turner looks like he could play 70-80mins

I think Carter is in for a good year. Had a full off season to really settle into things, will be a slow cow but will definitely make some good cash. Shame I dont have room for himjstands wrote:

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy Thread Part 9
How much money do people expect Packer to make? He used to be a 20 - 30 minute player at most when he was at the Warriors iirc. Can't see that being enough to significantly boost his price, especially if we are looking to cash out ~rd10 for byes.
I've seen a few people not picking our usual captain choices (Parker, Smith, Fensom, Gallen etc) who does everyone plan to captain? I actually have none of the above which is unnerving.

On Facebook I've declared my dud trifecta prediction
Taia Rochow Paasi
It was a close call between Paasi and Packer and I only went with popular picks

I had a quick look at him and he was in my team for a few hours, but when George and Tom come back, I have a feeling Surgess will bump Carter out and Turner will move to 2RF (subsequently I put Turner in my team)

well would obviously be selecting him assuming he plays from the bench. But if he is allowed any creative license like he did in the nines, he could put on some big attacking scores as well as the solid defense points of a forward. Plenty of upside, and let's face it- his competition to my pack in Kyle Turner is not super steep. Kyle is a zealous tacklebot who might play big mins and could go well. His job security is undoubtedly better too, When Gurgess returns next week, Surgess will move to lock and Turner ousts Carter to the bench. But he could also need a laminectomy by round 3, and that fact alone makes Paasi awful tempting

Littlejohn 1 game and disappear to NSW Cup is a possibility. I like him but Jason Taylor is a lunatic

Yeah I remember him pumping out some massive scores for manly when he was in the halves. I guess if he doesn't play any more games he wont see the price rises. Hmmm.. cheers for your thoughts.

I had Rochow 2 years ago for most of the year, can find the line and was average mid 40s from memory. I was real happy with him then so I picked him again, there's no reason why he shouldn't be able to replicate that.
Paasi will be a dud until he gets moved to 2RF and gets more freedom to do his thing. I expect him to bump Taia.
Because of this, Taia is a trap.
