No I think Packer will flop Fantasy wise. The guy was never a good scorer before and it's not like he's a guy who spent time in Super League and has come back a better player he's coming off an absence of League altogether.

I don't want to leave Hodgson out of my team but I just can't trust Sticky at the moment, Austin being named on the bench doesn't tell anyone anything about the minutes Hodgson will play since he could just drop Sam Williams on game day and Baptiste moves onto the bench.
I guess on the brightside if Hodgson does move to 80 he'll still probably be far more affordable than the other gun HOK's when I go to upgrade right?

depends on who you want as your second gun hooker for the run in mate, Smith will be 1 and chance guys like Seggy and maybe Peats can get to that 60 avg, can see Hodgson hovering at the 55 mark if he is playing 80, so a level down if the others move up...if you want Hodgson I would run him now and hope he plays 80 get his rises and then upgrade down the line if the others get to 60, if they don't You are saving a trade and shaving some cash on running Hodgson from the get go

i found this, re nathan green, from back in january
    http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/newslocal/northern-beaches/sport/manly-new-boys-relishing-his-fresh-start/news-story/bfde1f83b7e0ae285085578ba19a297c

there are some strong comments from barrett. he must like the guy. read between the lines and im getting the feeling he will get plenty of game time. i think i'll take the punt on starting green in my centres and have a fallback 134k option on the bench if needed.

yeah. article is from january and it is referring to their nines squad.

i posted as it seems like barrett has had wraps on green for a while now indicating it may not be a flash in the pan rnd 1 pick

Chanel Matuiatia, what is his job security like and is he worth having in your squad as a cow?

That's referring to the Auckland 9's I think, the article's dated January 28th.

Has there been any indication as to why Blaw didn't make the 17?

They were trying to offload him in the off season. That might have something to do with it. Barrett might just not rate him, maybe he isn't fully over his injury

I reckon just lack of game time since injury mate, start him in ressies for a round or 2 I would of thought

Anyone know how serious Zillman's injury is?

If Mead moved to fullback he is majorly undervalued. But don't want to get him in just for 2 week.

hard to believe it is lack of game time unless its politics. blaw played 60 mins in the trial two weeks ago, as well as the nines, yet koroisau/brown have not had a single trial but are in the starting 13.

Apparently just a calf complaint on nrl.com says in doubt for round 1, so wouldn't of thought it was too serious, he does however have a chronic back problem in the background

Cheers for the advice mate. I think I'll run with Smith for now and wait and see on Hodgson to see who the next best option is for me to take alongside CS9.

To be fair a serious neck injury which warranted surgery I would of though requires more spoon feeding than a shoulder complaint
