This may have been answered already, if so ignore and move on!  The theory is sound, the execution a tad flawed.  You need to find as many under valued players as you can, you have done that.  But you also have to spend all the cash otherwise you are losing points each week. $293k in the bank at approx' $8,500 / point is losing you a potential 34.5 points per week.  You will be a shot duck in two months.  You should turn RCG or another mid cow to a super gun and buy that 30 points back.

Team actually looks really good, but get that extra gun in. Dollars in bank = losing points.

I suppose you're right. Thanks for the feedback, was looking for some other insights as had been rolling it around in my head all week.

    Some helpful advice.

You can not have every single cash cow. There will be people out there making money that will not be in your team.

It is important to realise this and accept it.

There will be a few guys who will preety much be must have cows (like Soliola, Bird from last year) Just make sure you have those, but don't worry too much if you miss a couple other cows even if they will make you $100k

question - two players both score 40 pts exactly, every week, for 5 rounds. one starts as 130k and one is 250k. will they both be the same price after five rounds? eg 340k ? or will the 130k player still be short of the 40pt avg price?

I don think ive seen a single team with R.Hoffman picked.

Proven 80mins, with the C on his name, surely that will continue? Is known for high tackle counts, and the odd line break/meat pie.

    Whys everyone avoiding?

He's been notorious as a trap in fantasy. Just one of those guys whose play doesn't translate to gun fantasy scores. Expecting he'll average around the 35-40 mark.

You must be confused, Hoffmans tackle counts were not high at all last year. Thompson and Mannering's on the other hand scored majority of their points through base stats.

Will McGuire score similarly enough to Bromwich to save 40k?
Bromwich just feels much more safe but don't know if it's worth it

The 130k player will still be a little short, I'd imagine he'd be sitting around 280ish, someone with a little more knowledge and some calculations might have a more accurate figure, mine's just going off memory and experience from previous seasons

mcguire will score well but he's a battering ram type of prop, tackles and hard yards. bromwich has a bit more footwork and will get the odd try close to the try line off a short pass/or a try assist from an offload. mcguire doesnt pick up those sorts of stats.

Any reason as to why his role might change? Any changes of personal on his attacking side?

    Bump.  Anyone have a view?

My score estimates (For Aubs/Evans in particular assumes they keep their current roles)

    Aubbs - ~45
    Packer - 30-35
    Claw - ~40
    Evans - 35+

I think the biggest variable is how much Evans kicks on as a starter. I think he'll score at least 35, but has potential to go much higher

I don't have similar high hopes for Packer.

So after a few tweaks and changes I have made a side with 45k left in the bank. Too much cash sitting around doing nothing? Mind you will mean I have some wiggle room when it comes time to upgrade.
