Bromwich just feels much more safe but don't know if it's worth it

I think Bromwich's priced average of 52.6 is fairly accurate.

McGuire's average of 48.1 is a tad undervalued and I think he can get his average over up to over 50.

In short, I think Bromwich will score more, but McGuire's scores will be close enough that the $40k saving is worth it

Have a bad gut feeling about Ah Mau. Any suggestions on options for 2RF? Already have Cartwright and Whitehead. Sue maybe?

Just on Packer, I know, he wasn't crash hot back at the Warriors, but in every Dragons trial report I've read over the past couple months, the reporter responsible was quick to praise his workrate & involvement, I feel like maybe the stint in prison instilled some work ethic in him as he knows footy clubs won't take to paying a plodder with a criminal record, & thus he should manage to smash his former average.

Keep 45k in the bank or upgrade Lichaa to Peats which will leave me with 14k, but the upside is I have Peats for the byes already (that one trade could be handy down the track). Thoughts?

i dont have the stats but after all that chat about him in pre-season i thought we'd see more of it in teh charity shield, in which i felt he was fairly quiet.

he will be solid enough but i cant see more than 30-35 avg from him.

How do you think Woods fits into this comparison Milchow?

I can drop Woods for McGuire and get Turner via LAM.

Just wondering what upside people are seeing from Woods this year.

I had Bromwich last year, he played every game, posted some big scores but was a bit inconsistent at times, he'd go from a 60 one week to a 42 and 46 for the next two weeks.

It all evens out in the end but it was a bit frustrating. Having said that, I'd have him in my side again this year if he was a bit cheaper, he wont miss any games unless injured and is a season keeper!

I've trying to fit Peats into my team, every trade counts down the track.

my tv broke wrote:question - two players both score 40 pts exactly, every week, for 5 rounds. one starts as 130k and one is 250k. will they both be the same price after five rounds? eg 340k ? or will the 130k player still be short of the 40pt avg price?

After 5 weeks the $134k player will be $250-$275k

The $250k player will be $290-$315k

They'll get within $10k of each other around week 10.

I think Woods can post slightly better scores than McGuire (Marginal) and Woods is also a trade out over the Origin period. Knowing that, I would take McGuire.

Also the upside re Woods, every year the Tigers pack looks worse and Woods is the workhorse of the pack so will score well, he also had two games where he played limited minutes due to injury (Played 15 minutes for 3 points and 38 minutes for 22 points.) Removing those two games, A. Woods averaged 53 points (4 points more than he is valued at.) and averaged 59 minutes. (Over his 56 minutes). So it is slim, but aside from anything major he will improve. Then as I stated the Tigers pack is bad and he could do even better.

I reckon Woods scores 55 - the best value out of all 3 and hence he is the one in my team (but it is not by such a massive amount that I would consider Bromwich or McGuire bad picks. I will not be that surprised if either of them outperform Woods)

Downside is that Woods will require trading out over origin, but I will cross that bridge when I get to it.

I still don't really know what hookers I want. Every time I think I've settled on them, I get doubt in my mind.

Isn't McGuire a trade out over origin also?
