    Why Clifford out mate?

Either this week or next I'm thinking the same. Clifford is solid, but I feel like he's a 40s guy more than a 50-60s guy, without tries. And in order to get Cleary, someone has to go and I feel he makes the most sense for that fact, and positionally it doesn't hurt either.

    But. That is just me.

No no no! I needed Cleary to come back last week. This week is okay, but next week is terrible! I mean Turbo had to go last week, so he’s got to go this week!

Haha, seems like there's plenty of evidence to suggest that Gus may just be marching to the beat of his own drum on this one

I don’t know, he’s very similar to Burton I think, really good base so only needs a few conversions and the odd TA to go above their average. Clifford has scored a few already, point is a great base is always a decent option on the halves

Kobe Hetherington could be interesting if Riki is out for a length of time. Havnt heard anything though about his injury

Step 2 is to manifest Tom Gilbert to continue to get way more minutes than Lolo and he will eventually become Cleary

Repeat for any guns you want in your team, Fantasy has never been so easy *In Sales Pitch voice

So get Gilbert and Mahoney in today and you will have yourself your very own Cleary in no time.

For Cleary. Plus he’s made a fair bit of cash now and I think he won’t make much more. Clunes been doing a lot of Inplay kicking and two tries have boosted his scores which won’t happen every week

    Also to fund the trade

    Team before trades:

    Randell
    Haas (c), Arrow, Joking
    Wilton, Femor
    Sexton, Mann
    Burton, Aitken
    Hynes, Tedesco, Papenhuyzen

    Schneider, Tago, Nanai, Ming

    Leo Thompson, Tuilagi, Walters, Vailea

Not sure whether trades will help so might just bank the two.

If I was to trade only thing I can do is:

    Walters to Brodie Jones
    or
Walters and Tuilagi to Hetherington and Jaemon Salmon or something like that.

    TU: Trade
    TD: Bank 2 trades

Think Riki is fairly short term but if he's out its like Robati onto his edge and not much else changes.

Robati looks a bit chunky/slow this year so they'll carry a bench edge, maybe Piakura but he hasn't been having much luck with injuries either.

Oh all good. Just throwing out some ideas. Maybe Momoisea and Jones both get edge roles and we can have them both 😂

Momoisea is more of a cashout than a cash cow with a BE roughly in 30s due to low min bench appearances so far

If my cash out is playing decent minutes then he has the opportunity to score well so can turn it around. Friz and Barnett pending of course

I honestly don't think I will have the testicular fortitude to trade him out this week, but is there any valid reason why he may actually score well this week, when he has not yet? Or is it just that he "is due?"

No there's no real reason to think he'll improve his scoring. However it's only Round 4, it's premature to declare that he'll be a high 40's scorer for the rest of the season.

What is abundantly clear is the Titans were stupid to spend a million dollars on him.

No. Bench prop, lots of risk but limited upside. (Should make plenty of money though, and will probably have Leo as first look in a loop this week in case he does go 40+.)
I had Leo and Nanai in the loop last week - took Leo's 37 and missed Nanai's 62.

Anybody care to see if I have a blindspot and am missing something? Suspect I am in the zero trades gang. 162k ITB

    Randall
    Ming Haas (c) Jing
    Fifita Wilton
    Sexton Schneider
    Burton Aitken
    Hynes Papenhuyzen Crichton
    R: Gilbert, Mann, Nanai, Tago
    E: Walters Tuilagi Thompson Ilias

Could do Walters>Starling as a real bourgeoise trade, but I wouldn't know who to take out of the 17. King, Ming, Nanai, even Tago- all about as likely as each other to provide me a stinky score. I am a little worried about my cashflow though, Ilias is a lame duck and I suspect Walters has peaked unless he starts soon, Tuilagi an unknown quantity- Thompson may be my only thriving cow. In that respect, I have also mulled over an Ilias/Walters>May.

I really like Rhino's Rule(TM), and since I have tried out all these combinations at least three or four times and reversed it, I think it tells me that I shouldn't be making any at all.

There seems to be a lot of top teams without WFB cover? XCoates has been a dead spot in the 18-21 yet to pay off so far, but at least he's providing cover I suppose?

haha whether or not it is real (doubt it) the odds of guessing it correctly are about 90% anyway. Not much is going to change after one absolute shocker of a week. Flegler comes straight in (feel like he will be on the bench though). go again. everyone is on notice.

Robati looks decent value even if only 60 min on an edge. Any word on the timeframe of the Riki injury?
