Lots of good CTRs available this season, Hastings looks like the only good value half capable of keeper level scores.

I expect that anyone missing Hastings this week will regret it in coming weeks, like Starling was for many.

Although I'm getting Hastings, Keary is also a good value half capable of keeper-level scores when the Roosters get their shit together (waits).

Hastings is probably less dependent on his team being good, which is fortunate as he plays for Wests. See him as a big-bodied half who can do a bit everything and score in all categories, a bit like Mitchell Pearce. If he can score like Pearce from 500k that'll do me.

Yes, surprised he hasnt performed well this season, was dynamite before injury last year!

Could say that Hastings is the only one of the 2 that is producing keeper level scores at the moment.

Titans had a really serious honesty session earlier in the week. You know what that means....

I am getting both this week.

Probably the last week to get Jazz given potential job security issues to make enough cash at a low price point.
Hastings likely still a buy next week, but might be $50k more expensive.

Yep it’s my problem both are a good option

I watched a fair bit of Hastings in super league- obviously against lesser opposition but he has a running style that accumulates fantasy points, likes a jink and some contact in traffic and finding offloads, seems like he’s showing that now

Also he does his bread and butter well, plus the geezer wants the ball always

We are no longer an equal opportunity team, some of us are actually better players than others and can help us win games.

Pass the ball to the big kid.

    Thoughts on this trade

    Randall and Schneider out

    Hastings and tevaga in

Don’t want to lose Schneider but think Hastings licks him for points generation over the next 5/6 games

I have starling and grant for hooker and tevaga historically has good scores in big minutes at lock- plus an extra decent scoring mid is never a bad thing

Liking the look- anything I’m overlooking

Who are the next 4 after Schneider you think you could possibly trade out before round 13?

Saw an interview with Sexton….he didn’t sound like he knew what ‘honesty session’ meant…. ‘we watched some videos and that and we have to improve some stuff’ (paraphrasing liberties taken)

    Promising stat here for Hastings

    Halfback touches average per game:

    Hastings - 96
    Hunt - 69 ( Beer )
    DCE - 65
    Hynes - 60
    Cleary - 59

Depends how much you care about your R13 numbers and maximising value. Schneider still has 60-70k to make if he can hold his current average and I don't see any reason why he can't.
Hastings seems like he can average 10 more to justify the trade but feels like there should be better trade outs.

18-21 are Walters, ilias, Thompson, rushton,

Interchange is max king, Hastings, josh king, starling

Schneider price let’s me get tevaga and Hastings otherwise it’s trading out Thompson and getting koula, (which I don’t mind)

But I see this as the only week timing wise to get Hastings and tevaga, otherwise I’ll have missed them and won’t go back

Schneider to Hastings seems slightly sideways…Hastings has potential but I’d try to be trading out someone on a downward arc otherwise there’s an opportunity cost. Not sure either of these two are in your final 17 so you want to maximise usefulness
