Went from $0 prize money to $45 prize money after updates.

$20 double up and $25 in the $10k tournament.

Beat Krump by 0.3 points as well.

In POD talk - "RNGD Barking Ghecko" had exactly the same team as me - so it was impossible for me to win the top prize by myself
    Possibly should have grabbed Coote.

Someone's expecting a big parra win haha.

I'm hoping Mbye has a very quiet night, think he will be highly owned. I like Edwards and Kasiano tonight

I'm on Kasiano as well. Seems to be a game of known scorers so I'm also having a crack at my first head to head as well.

I skipped h2h tonight but I would have had at least
    Garvey
    Graham
    Tolnan
    Jackson
    Rona

As they score fairly regular points then filled out

Mbye 70% in the big tourny.

    I've gone Reynolds at 7.8%

lets hope it reverts to 2015 form, where JRey was the main man

I have Moeroa too, but sounds like he might not be back, which kills my chances

Edit: passed concussion test. Should be back

Moeroa scoring well tonight. Graham having a big rest but is like 90% owned. Unless it opens up in 2nd half everything's going to be close

lukeaye wrote:Hear what your saying. Theoretically though, you don't need a big scoring POD. If no POD gets a big score, then you need to have the best combo of the higher % players. If a POD goes big and you have him then it helps and certainly increases your chances of winning, so long as the alternative in that position did not go even bigger still. You basically just need to have the highest combo of scores (durr).

Yep, and though the salary cap [overly generous, imo] will sort of force people to have POD's, I think plenty of teams will win games with stock standard 'obvious' teams. POD's are POD's for a reason - they're not real consistent.

I'm interested in how the guys with multiple sides go. On Thursday night, "Mr Fantasy" had 9 sides in - and ended up with 4 in the money [9th, 27th, 38th and 39th]. So $90 out - $125 in.  I'm happy with 1 team at a time for shits and giggles atm.

    *Edit.

Fuck me, just had a look at he final results of that comp. Updates were real kind to "Mr Fantasy". His 9th placed Team moved up to 3rd, 27th -20th, 38th-25th, 38th-33rd, and 39th stayed the same. He went from $125 to $350 ........ That shit NEVER happens to me Evil or Very Mad

We only had 1 different in this game. You had Taukeiaho and I had Lowe.
You must've left quite a few dollars in the bank ? [I know it has little bearing on the result, but the tight-arse in me wants to wring out every cent I have  Rolling Eyes  gun  ].

In single game you can pretty much get any team you want the way players are priced. You need to stick to your guys, the other week I had a heap of money left so upgraded and it cost me big time

What sort of idiot uses the same team in the h2h and bigger comp? No need to answer this idiot likes rhetorical questions.

Todays tournie play should be leaving Tedesco out, im guessing 80%+ ownership. If he doesnt score 50+ and the player you pick instead scores 5 x value youre in front of 80% of teams straight up.

It is not a big if for Tedesco to score under 50.

He does it in half his games
