Thanks heaps for the effort, robelgordo. I'll check in to see how the upper echelon fare.

I have been dismissed but not sad as I deserved it with the shithouse week I had.
Thanks heaps for the effort, robelgordo. I'll check in to see how the upper echelon fare.

Re: 2022 ELIMINATOR
FEATURE MATCHES
Highlighting some matchups featuring prominent forum people this week. Apologies in advance for any unintentional snubs
1 Hayneous Crimes v Quicksand 65
Will our big dog Pookus McFly triumph, or will it be permanent outside time for the top seed?
17 Rudolf the Red-Nosed Rein Dearden v The DILIGAFS 81
Camo123 scraped through by just 1 point this week, let's see if the DILIGAFS have the Fortitude (see what I did there?) to go that little better.
72 ayoo v Rhinooooo 8
Winner gets to add more "o's" to their team name. Because, y not? (see what I did there too?)
37 thelastdodo v Trading Down the House 156
This matchup should answer the age old question about who would win a fantasy football H2H between a dodo and a cow. Milch is on a charge, ranked about 40 spots higher than his seeding now, and will be looking to moooo-ve onto the next round
108 murray the f up v JM Delights 85
Manly Beaver's team 'murray the f up' doesn't even have Murray in it, I feel this is the most blatant case of false advertising since my suit against the movie The Neverending Story. Meanwhile Jumping Marlin will be delighted with his run since the eliminator started, up from 85th to 36th in the FOG in just 3 weeks!
3 The Aardvarks v my tv broke 67
Aardvark Ratnick flying high and the top seed in the Jacob Host Conference, but this seems like a dangerous matchup against the front man for SIs BE website.
78 OTL The Bootlacers v There's Something About Cleary 142
After vanquishing a fellow mod last week, Filth is now looking to vanquish a podcaster.
74 Talfal v Soop-A-starZ 10
Talfal goes for the Dragons like me but he is also good at fantasy football unlike me. That last part will be tested against Fraser, who has a crazy consistent record and is up there again
31 The Bludgers v The Harry Kane Team 34
The closest matchup on seedings this week see TheBludger#2 (better than #1) against survivor winner Jele.

Brilliant and some great highlights in there.
Most of them are probably tougher to pick than the weekly NRL match results

Making such bold claims publicly is bold, once you lose everyone will see and you’ll have to change your name to Fluro123.

Great write up! Love it.
Happily taking the underdog status in this one again - big gap in squad quality!

Re: 2022 ELIMINATOR
ROUND 2 RESULTS + ROUND 3 DRAW
Scoring felt a bit more like the V'Landys Ball of 2020-2021 this week.... if you had trades left.
MITCH AUBUSSON CONFERENCE
The king is dead! Hayneous Crimes (Pookus McFly) has been eliminated by Quicksand, in a scene exactly like when Musafa is dropped off the cliff by the treacherous Scar in The Lion King. Now that he's out of the eliminator, he only has Overall honours to play for.
Rhinoceroo also lost, so Hal's Haasholes (AL) is now the big dog in the Aubbs bracket, seeded 9th
Rudolf the Red Nosed Rein Dearden (Camo123) talked a big game and delivered on the talk with a big win. I strongly encourage everyone to follow his lead.
8/16 teams in this conference topped 1000, 7 of those won, the one sub-1000 winner was BroncOz (OzSportMad). He is the lowest seed remaining in the draw, at 168!

Re: 2022 ELIMINATOR
JACOB HOST CONFERENCE
#3 seed The Aardvarks (Aardvark Ratnick) coasted through against MyTvBroke, amassing a whopping 1052, even after slefsabotaging by playing Palasia over Hughes and I think forgetting to make a trade. Imagine how good he'd been if was paying attention!
The only larger score in the Host section was TwinTurbo (Cap'n Ranta) with 1057, and he needed it, as his opponent ROGUE Blame Nathan Brown (Regulator) amassed 1043 to be the highest scoring loser of the round.
Pacey's Best and Bunny Boy Brothers (Rabbits 21) were the other teams to crack a millennium in this bracket
At the other end of the scale, There's Something About Cleary (Filthridden) continues his charmed run, he was the lowest scoring winner of the round.

Re: 2022 ELIMINATOR
BLAKE LAWRIE CONFERENCE
Pretty Pretty Pretty Good (The Dark Knight) is now the highest seed left, #2 here (and also #2 overall). Asserted his dominance with a big 1049 too.
His next opponent will be The Harry Kane Team (Jele). Jele had the closest matchup in terms of seedings - him at 34 versus The Bludgers (The Bludger#2) at 31 - and the close seedings was actually reflected in the scores. It was 1026 to 1021, with the 5 point margin the narrowest of the round
Elsewhere some forum regulars at the pointy end are still alive - Soop-A-starZ (Fraser), Boozecluez - while lucky loser Trapped in Flegler's Web (sajjos) continues the dream run with his second chance, beating 7th seed The Elite RL (ando).
7/16 scores over 1000 in the Lawrie group.
