Almandin was $121 but I'm amazed they let him on for that much. Good collect

Opened at $301. I don't know the mate but that looks like a screenshot to me so I'll take my mates word for it. Don't know why someone would bullshit

For what reason? Jealousy? Looks legit to me.Pain wrote:

Never understood why anyone would bother to lie about a betting win either.

For that reason why bother posting it? Why post the ticket and not the winnings showing the payout?
Who takes a screenshot of a bet prior to the race? It must be prior as if it was at 5.30pm yeesterday it would have no longer been pending, but paid.
I'd believe you or Honeysett about a winning bet without seeing a ticket.
If I'm wrong, I'll say sorry.

Maybe the bloke took a photo that morning to show a potential payout? Who bloody knows anyway (maybe Honeysett can answer that). You do have a good point though, mind you I just saw the post and took it at face value. Also please don't think I was having a go at you, I just think it's silly that anyone would lie about such a thing (then again maybe Im just an ignorant idiot who tends to give most people the benefit of the doubt).

I don't know him personally but I wouldn't see a reason to lie. As to why it's screenshot, I do that with all my bets. I had a bet void from a website because they said they detailed a draw at full time was a void bet and I showed them it wasn't and they couldn't prove to me it was and I could prove it wasn't. They ended up paying me the win.
Plus I send a lot of my bets to my mates to see if they want to get on, perhaps that's what he does as well?
Don't know mate can't answer that one sorry bro.

I take screenshots of most of my larger bets just in case they try to screw me later. The only thing I find hard to believe is Sportsbet taking on that sort of liability.Pain wrote:

If I had an earlier bet of $125 in September on a horse at $121's, who was now shortening into one of the more fancied horses, I'd be almost certainly sending it around to all my mates the night before the race too i.e. look what I stand to win.

A $15k liability? That's nothing, or is there something I don't know about Sportsbet?
Just for the sake of weighing in why send around the snapshot of the pre-event ticket? Why not send the snapshot of the winning bet post race? That's the bit that doesn't make sense to me....

Been cleaning up on the A-League FGS bets over the weekend. Usually chuck on $100 on a few games and hit a hatty. Odds are usually around $6.5 - $7 for blokes like Mclaren, Krishna etc

Posting a winning slip and not telling anyone about it is worse, I cannot stand the "I won heaps on x" every punter has a winning story, you need to share the losses to. That's why prematch posting or screenshots mean more.
A hot tip when the Big Bash starts, I clean up early on in the season.
My tip is to live bet, wait until the the 3rd over is in play and then go under for total runs for the 6 overs. I reckon it comes off 8/10 and pays $1.85/$1.90 - my only tip is if Maxwell is batting then stay well away.

Honeysett doesn't need to post bet slips. I know for a fact he cleans up on the Big Bash and NBA at times.

I haven't had a good punt in a while, money has been going to so many other things. NBA been pretty unpredictable this year. Seen a few decent bets I wish I put on.

Wasn't it posted on here after the result?
Dude, this thread is the worst for that. Go through 29 pages and I'd say close to 80% of bets on here are posted after the event, or during....
