Still got 5 going that are looking very good as of now. Had about another 10 that are either completely gone or no chance though.Revraiser wrote:

Re: The Betting Thread
Number of tries in the Otago Manawatu game over 6.5 - should be a high scoring game, both teams have good offences and like to score tries. Both teams in need of bonus points as well to secure spots on the table, this being the last round. Crude on the bench for Manawatu as well which should be useful in the last 30.
Also for a bit of fun I'd suggest bets on Laumape $2.3, Kirikiri $4.5, Faddes $2.15, and Dawai $3.2 to score tries. A couple of those guys should come in I would have thought at least.

Re: The Betting Thread
Another arbitrage option here for people with Stan James accounts.
$2.5 for Counties to win v Canterbury today who you can get at anywhere from $1.72 to $1.85 at most bookies.
Max out on each and you will take home some profit.
Its actually one of those funny games: The best team in NZ but with zero to play for away to a pretty good team with everything to play for.
I'm gonna max out on both bets but use to profit to take a free bet on Counties +7.5
Good start to the day knowing that at worst you break even on this game.

Can't help my self - going for a high scoring one as well.
Over 56.5
I think the nature of the game suggests a bunch will be scored.

Re: The Betting Thread
under 71.5 HB v BOP - bit of rain around and the NZ line is dropping as a result. Winnings from last bet riding on this one. Gonna see if I can get together a decent sum of money by the end of the night to slam on the League test!

Re: The Betting Thread
Reasonably good night last night - forgot to post my league bet in the end.
Profits on Tasman to dominate today -20.5.
Tasman must win at home against the 2nd worst team in the league (who have nothing to play for).
Tasman need the bonus point as well to have any chance at taking 3rd spot going into the semis.
I reckon they do this with ease.

Mate its been a killer Union season. I think of my posted bets I probably hit about 80%. I've also made quite a few which I didn't have time to post before the match which have been equally as successful. Have made a killing, its probably been one of my best seasons in terms of win % ever. Too bad I am betting way less than in the past though No blimmin bookie will take my bets anymore at any significant value lol!
How've you been going mate?

Re: The Betting Thread
Who do we like lads? Part time punter here but I can't go past Almoonquith after that CC run. Basically ran sideways in the straight to get a clear run and still hit the line full of running. Proven at the distance. Don't worry about the barrier, will only be better value because of it.
I've also thrown a bit each way on last year's 2 unluckiest in WhoShotTheBarman and Grand Marshall. I don't mind a roughie and either one can run a place at $10.
How are your multis looking @krump

Re: The Betting Thread
Whats your preferred betting strategy on the cup?
I usually pick 3-4 have a bit each way and then box thenm in a trifecta etc. Never do much good.
Looking at the following now;
Almoonqith
Gallante
Grey Lion
Qewy
Thoughts?

I've got Beautiful Romance, Curren Mirotic, Heartbreak City and Oceanographer on for huge collects. I may well back a couple of others after seeing how the track is playing as well as the obligatory tri's and first fours. For any addicts there is a big tip getting around for Big Artie in r8 at Randwick.
