Where did you get $9? They opened at $8 at most places.

Down to $4.75 everywhere I can see.

I'm going to put $500 on them I think.

Was on William Hill. Bet on them the moment I saw the team list come out. Prices have dropped down to $5 now for the Cowboys.

Lucky they didn't change it, they get the team lists before we do. Would have thought they would have brought them in straight away

Team list got named that arvo and they are in to $6 now.

Laughing mate! I love bookie fuck ups.

I used to love the call up to place your bet, I reckon William Hill (then sportingbet) would fuck up my bet once every 20 or so and I'd let it ride, call them if my bet I wanted won and say nothing if it lost. I recall putting down $1250 on a line bet in the AFL and the guy made a mistake.I wanted -50.5 on I believe it was Hawks and they gave me 50.5+ to the other team, I called them to get them to change it straight away because they warned me that they would void the bets in future, and got the same guy, he said "yep, you wanted the Hawks, sorry mate I will fix it." He ended up changing it to Hawks 50.5+ and they went on to win by 47 points. So not only did the bet I want fuck up, but he gave me the plus line when they were already miles ahead. I could not have been happier.

Mate, William Hill are one of the laziest most incompetent bookies I have bet with.

Until they banned me I bet with them solely when they either posted incorrect odds (i.e. they got their handicaps back to front (+9.5 instead of -9.5), or their odds flipped (paying $4 instead of $1.20)) and when they didnt update their odds fast enough in live betting (i.e. home run gets hit and they are still paying the odds relevant to prior to the run scored).

The are hopeless so I am not surprised in the slightest that they didn't update their odds fast enough.

Only problem is they are quite quick to ban you. I think I made about $4k and then I was gone. It does make me wonder how any long term gambler can actually win overall!! I've been banned from every single bookie I've profited from , I think 4 in total (Paddy power, William Hill, Ladbrokes, TAB NZ) The only bookies I can bet with now are those which have taken me to the cleaners lol!!

I never got banned from William Hill, I actually found they were quite good to me. Lots of bonus bets thrown my way, same as Unibet. I was getting bonus bets every fortnight from them and I had no idea why.

Sportsbet are the cunts. Banned me for no reason and wouldn't tell me, absolute joke of a company.

$2.20 if you take him by KO, he won't be beating mundine on points.

The fight was won by mundine, but green deserved that decision as a result of the cheap shot changing the whole fight.

I have done numerous dodgy bets (based on bookie error) but never been banned. Some have slipped through, but most are realised and reversed/voided but still not banned.

Best one was a womens tennis player being up 5-2 in the first set against V Williams, but all betting still open as if it hadnt started. Double break up and odd's of $2.80 first set winner available, i unloaded. Won the set, no one noticed !

That reminds me of an over under bet in NBA I placed once - it was with a bookie (can't remember) that had odds of close to even money on each of the over and under and then 40 to 1 on it being the exact over under number.

The bookie got the odds mixed up and was offering 40:1 on the over. The mathematician in me said bet all you've got (when else do you get 40:1 on a 500/50 bet right!! - under it was and I was bust Sad

I don't know why I keep getting banned - it only takes about $4 ~$6k profit and my bet size gets maxed out at such a small amount (like max win $20) that its not worth betting. Technically not banned but effectively banned! Not just one bookie either, multiple ones, so I figured its just the way they minimise risk - effectively shut down anyone that takes money off them!

By the way - anyone see what the odds were on the Pats in game got to? What an amazing comeback and an absolute choke by Atlanta. Those dudes are gonna rue that possession for the rest of their lives...IDIOTS!

The biggest I saw was $10 which was absolutely unders considering the position they were in and the Max comeback was 10 points

Try out centrebet mate, apparently they are no longer restricting. The other one that Won't is Pinnacle.

Thanks mate, yeah I have bet with centrebet before - haven't tried pinnacle though.

Other than the odd bet for fun though my betting days are well behind me. Once I came to the realisation that for the most part if you make money you get banned, it seemed like a fruitless exercise. Of course when they ban you from making money on sports they will always let you throw your money away at their "casinos" and on the races Smile

I like the odd punt but in general the gambling industry is a complete have. And it makes sense of course, why would a company who's main goal is to make $ want to have clients that lose them money....

EDIT: Sorry, didn't mean to be a downer on this thread - but the info could be valuable to some (I still believe many of the live betting loopholes exist for fail safe profit! Just gotta get in and out quick!)

I hate myself sometimes. Told my Spurs mate that I reckon Kane is good for some goals tonight. Spurs have beat Stoke 4-0 twice recently and Kane is on fire. He put $50 on a Kane hat trick paying $17 and I went to cowards bet and put $100 on first goal scorer only. Paying $3.5. Still a good win but when Kane score his hat trick before half time it does hurt a little bit.
