$14.068 mil team value with another 102k in the bank. Made some decent money this year but have too much $$ stuck in my emergencies and not enough trades to free it up now.

Would anyone use an extra trade to get more cash to trade out Barnett or Lolo over Moses? McInnes the other option but feeling to hold him.  I currently have 5 trades.  The extra trade would be Kennedy to Mbye.  Or even Barnett/Lolo to Butcher but not feeling that.

If you were set on trading Im liking the second one a bit more. Lolo who knows when Cotter is back. Butcher should outscored Barnett easily.

Sexton also averaged 18.5 for the two rounds I owned him

He averaged 55 for the five rounds before I traded him in & 66 for the two rounds after I sold him

    Ha!

This is basically what happened to me as well.

5 trades is plenty I reckon, wouldn't let that hold you back. But the extra cash doesn't appear to make the trade a great deal better though. I agree I'd rather keep Moses over Barnett and Lolo, but it's marginal.

Edit: Is the extra centre coverage of Mbye desirable for your team?

News Corp can reveal the Warriors are in the advanced stages of negotiations with Martin and have tabled a three-year deal to help offset the loss of fullback sensation Walsh to the Broncos next season.

3 year deal is a bit of a worry based on his HIA history.

    Good deal for him though.

I know who I'd rather have between TMM and Walsh but TMM is a step in the right direction culture-wise.

Just a pity we're also getting Dylan Walker.

Yeah, when I trade Koula to Ted I will have no centre cover.  Exactly though, the extra trade isn't really a deal breaker.

Or I get Fifita over Haas....

    Good deal for him though.

I think he actually had a unexplained aneurysm which couldn’t be directly linked to head knocks (could be wrong) and it took a year or so to get medical clearance to even train again.

    Jesus, I can go;

    Koula - Ted
    Moses - Haas
    Barnett/Lolo - Fifita

2 trades but no centre cover. Hmmm....

Just did Papy to Deine Mariner (only Burton at CTR this week with Koula and Garner out)

    AND

    Mann to Haas

Now have got 232 k to spend on my last 2 trades sometime over the next week or two. All positions have got a few replacements and no red dots. May as well get the full benefits of the trades by making them R21/22 rather than 23/24

I am hoping for a surprisingly good result from Mariner.

I thought TMM to Warriors was happening when Walsh leaving was announced or was just a rumour at the time? I already expected he was Warriors next season and not mad about it

    I don't see how that's not sustainable

Every year I play fantasy I set myself the same goal. Finish in the top 10 of the Reddit league.

I've had such a dire year by my standards, I hadn't checked my progress until now. I'm ranked 34th in it, in overall I'm just outside the top 5k at 5095 and the only trades I have left are the 4 gifted to me.

Typically I have a very strong mid-season and fall apart on the run home through injuries/running out of trades. This year I kind of skipped to falling apart shortly after the season began.

Right now I'm a little low on quality WFB depth so the 'smart' or correct tactic is to boost it with a WFB gun. However if I'm not even in with a shot at my goal, I think I'll just say screw it I want Murray in my team and if things goes disastrous well ta-ta and farewell to me continuing to play.

Look forward to committing fantasy seppuku very soon.

Was just looking up Teddy and noticed he has three scores of 81 this year, as well as 2 scores of 48.

Got me wondering who has the record for most identical scores in a season.

First three my brain went to: Jurbo scored 52 four times last year.

Tohu scored 61 three times last year, and 63 two times (to go with a 62 and 64 to complete the set).

Cam Smith scored 72 three times in 2014 (8 scores total between 70-76, remarkable consistency that year) and 74 four times in 2019.

Any other submissions? Can anyone beat 4?

I remember Jarrod Wallace when he played for the broncos was always on the bench yet never got minutes so always scored 0 and kept dropping price below the original lowest price a player could start at
