Can’t really get behind it even with Manly weaker team

Can likely expect Cleary/Hynes to get 60-65, so even if Teddy goes wild and gets 100 you’re only gaining 35 points with downside of going below Cleary/Hynes floor

Can't decide if I should trade out RFM or not. If I get rid of him it would probably have to be for Mbye and will leave my emergencies as Kennedy, Mbye, Pole and Matamua. Pretty weak. But he could end up being out a few weeks anyway.

    My trades are looking like:
RFM, Koula out - Tedesco, Mariner in

Leaves me with 2 trades & 199k bank. Didn't really want to sell Koula but it gives me the cash to go Moses to DCE with 1 trade. I won't buy DCE this week just to see how he performs & if he's affected by all the outs.

Casualty ward has him back next week but who knows. I'm going to hold with Waddell suspended til 25. Played 77 mins last week and think he's good for 40+ with those minutes which is ok at 17.

Having said that if I had enough bank to upgrade him to Haas I'd be doing that as it is trying to decide between Lolo and Barnett

Been debating using two of my last four trades on Mahoney/Walsh to Butcher/Douehi OR three of them on Mahoney/Walsh/Koula to Haas/Difita/Mbye and just writing it down it seems obvious. White knuckling on injuries for five rounds is a bit hairy though.

If you're fighting for placings in cash leagues with 6 rounds to go isn't it time to take some punts like Teddy C?

OMG, I've only just noticed that it's actually 'Women in League' round this week - with all the furore around the Manly shirt I thought it must have been 'Pride' round. It doesn't change anything or anyone's views per se, but talk about creating problems for yourself Manly.

Who is this Mariner anyway? Wouldn’t he just get squeezed out when Cobbo returns, Hoeter to centre?

Hard to say. Hoeter a bit of a journeyman (chequered past of being a bit of a gronk teammate). Mariner 19yr old kid who they see as a long term prospect.

I think it will just depend on form. If Mariner goes well he keeps the spot. Pereira has also been great for us (only missing due to covid this week)

Either way I don't think they mix up the Staggs/Cobbo combo on the right (at this stage of the season), and Oates now has left wing locked up. So its Herbie's spot up for grabs when everyones back (IMO)

Maybe just giving him a taste in a nice home game vs Wests in case he's needed later on or in the finals, so he's not thrown completely in deep end?

I happen to be pretty desperate not to trade in Mbye!

Conservative versus risk: Haas with May as CTR cover, or Murray with Mbye CTR cover. Surely this is the time of the season to be going balls to the wall and assume no centres ever get injured! cheer

    I like the first option.
Murray concerns me in regards to being nursed through to the semis.
Haas could be similar but he looked great last week.
May is a much better cover and even 18th or 19th man than Mbye.

I'm so desperate not to trade in Mbye that I might trade in HTF on the 50/50 assumption that one of the Cowboys backline will.go down at some point. Poor Moses.

Great question. I think the answer lies in their roles going forward.
They both need to be playing edge to be value.
Both packs get shuffled around frequently.
It’s a toss up and I doubt anyone knows the answer.
