    - Mbye is a trap (fundamentally misunderstanding the point of a cash out, the way his answer reads)
    - Sell Manu because he's back at centre, even though he's up against a weakened Manly backline (and still averages 45 at centre this year)
    - A general obsession with using 3 or 5 round averages to justify trading/keeping someone

Thanks for reminding me to get my daily laugh

Manu is a pretty luxurious sell at this stage but I think you could make a case for it e.g. to Burton, or to Aitken plus cash, or if you have both already downgrade CTR cover to enable a big upgrade elsewhere.

    Everything else is lunacy

I think if I let Haas go this week he's gone and it's Butcher next week

    I'd rather Hammer as well

Same thinking with Haas. Probably now or never.

Anyone want to discuss Haas vs Fifita? All signs point to Haas, no?

Forgot to read this week but fixed that and it has cheered me up immensely cheer

It's pretty much par for the course this year....the Mbye one is special though (I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he misunderstood the question)

When did Fifi score try? I swear he was on about 12pts with 30 mins or so played

He looks like could soon be AE nightmare scoring. Would rather a Tigers red dot for looping

The rest I agree with you

    Juts read it.

The other LS point Id contend with is that Moses to Burton is no points upgrade for 100k more. He uses the 3 game average and season average on this. But surely the most useful is something in between? Pretty clear Burton went up a level around R8ish. His last 10 games Burton averages 60. He also ignores DPP. It's still perhaps not a great trade (similar to Manu out maybe), but for me it's the right answer with the wrong working IMO

I just checked. 38th minute. He was scoring like a dud up to then iirc

This seems to ignore how Fifi always scores his points. Hes not an accumulator, he's everyone shits on him for being not involved and he makes 1-2 big plays and gets 60 anyway.

People seem to think hes been dogshit this year yet in 8 starts averages 59.3 with a low of 42. Only 3 tries in 8 games as well, which is low for him.

That's how he has always scored. Ticks along slowly and racks up minsters because of a couple of big plays. Looking at his score after X minutes is not a good way of estimating his final score (unless X=80)

When he's on form he can do several big runs in a game. Earlier in the year he'd bludge out on the wing for 78 minutes.

I don't mind selling Manu. For his price there are better options
Maybe give him a week so you can be disappointed when manly win tonight.

Is anyone buying Moses Mbye to play him?
For the community team at least, he is basically the only green dot we can trade in if w want to afford Haas. So its play short or have Mbye in NPRs. Easy call IMO

That's what he does.....I brought him in last week for Barnett for a few reasons

    - It's more fun
    - It's getting late in the season and I haven't had a great run so therefore having a high ceiling player is a bust or boom option
    - Barnett is also unreliable but is less likely to bust out a 75, particularly getting shuffled around from Mid to Edg
    - It's more fun

If I had a decent team I'd probably have bought someone else but you take the risks you think you need to take

Fifita is never going to be Tohu or Mcinnes

This...he's only an AE if a CTR goes down and in that case it's better than 0

Yeah but if Mariner stays at CTR probably better AE than Mbye back to 9pts off the interchange.

Pretty sure Mbye was filling in for Suli at CTR last week (and Suli is out for a decent spell)...I think he's in the run on for the rest of the season.

Could be wrong but that's the risk. Mariner could be out on his arse next week.

If I have 322K that I could get centre coverage with to allow Lolo to Haas, are there any better centres than Mbye?
