I was one of those losses & it was a hollow victory because you lost both harris & e. katoa to injury/hia no return just before h/t & up to that point you were easily beating me & cruising to victory then that shite bad luck happened. sorry bro.

Brutal game.
I'm fairly certain I caused the HIA's to both CNK and Katoa when I foolishly decided to smite the fantasy football gods and quietly cheer for trading out Tohu.....rookie mistake.

Re: Sportdesk VSDT 2023
Lockout over
Code Delta still ranked no 1, and Wl in 3rd.
I have moved up to 15th
But my team is in trouble. I have Host, Couchman and Jack Johns in my second row and Haas, Welch, Uto, Pele as my front row have to find some useful players somewhere
Also want to bring Teddy in
Jarrod Wallace is interesting, after 2 poor scores, he bounced

Congrats to all flying high in this comp as well. I am sitting pretty comfortably in 50th place. Not too high to get a nose bleed.
Looks like the "Big League" in the 20 team league rankings has found the cheat code...

The anomolies with the scoring for the "Big League" league started in Round 6, and subsequently in Rounds 7 and 8 too.

Re: Sportdesk VSDT 2023
Was finally hoping to do no trades this week or one maybe.
BUT suddenly my FRFs look like this. Tohu, Haas, Uto and TPJ. Fun strategy to just play the last two. Not happening.
I just didn't want to make two trades this week, BUT.

Same here, my only *fit* and/or playing FRF is Keppie, which doesn't fill me with joy. But I want only want to trade in one so I can actually improve the team elsewhere. Looking at the wasteland in the $400k-ish region makes me rethink my plans. Is Sipley a buy? Two games for 51 average? Clutching at straws? He facilitates both my other trades however. But then I have both him and Keppie

I'm looking at Sipley, Wallace, Afoa or Sele as my short term FRF solution.
BMM (sigh) and Pasami Saulo are the cheaper options who might do OK
If you literally only care about this week. Keenan Palasia would be OK, and should be a good R13 body too, but likely to be a dead spot other than that, and I think I'd rather spend $100-150k extra to get someone who should be more useful

Yeah literally just this week, although if I have fires to put out next week I may need him for more than one. Not sure I'm keen on getting Palasia'd for the second year in a row I'm interested in Afoa and Sipley mostly, and whether that cash from Sipley could be useful
