Re: Sportdesk VSDT 2023
Thanks all, unsuprisingly a tough match-up against Eungai Eels, the team coming fourth overall. He's got amazing depth. Despite losing Cook, Murray and Latrell this week on Souths' bye, he's easily able to field 17, with a couple of playing reserves.
At this stage, PoD match-ups could be:
Me vs Him
Yeo vs Horse
AFB vs Tapine
Tino vs Carrigan
Fifita vs Harris
Bateman vs Nikora
Walsh vs Marzhew
If Carrigan, Harris, and Marzhew could stop scoring tries, that would be much appreciated. Yeo, Tino, and Fifita not so much.

You're in with a decent shot with those POD match ups I reckon.

I've currently got VC on Cleary, and C on Munro
Should I chuck the C on Ponga? Gameday live predicts him to score 102 today

Depends on your AE for Munro. If it's a terrible AE then risk it. But if your AE is reasonable I'd leave it.

i captained manu which was not too good but they just said apparently it's a monor hammy strain & he's 50/50 to play rd. 27....normally he wouldn't play but this is an important game re the top 8 but seriously imo he won't play as minor hammy strains are usually a couple of weeks off.

Quick update on my VSDT eliminator semi-final. Up by 197 points with only his Marzhew and Nikora left. Was expecting a few last minute shenanigans, but looks like my opponent ran out of trades...

Ended up leaving it (should have gone to DCE with 20/20 hindsight).
but the AE didn't come into it. Was getting an AE for Munro either way (was all set on it being Harrison Edwards, until Alamoti ended up playing)

Re: Sportdesk VSDT 2023
I’ve made it into first place, 1 round to go.
Can’t get any prizes in England so really hope if I hold on to 1st place next week that someone on here comes 2nd and can claim my cash prize.
Bank holiday in England so been heavy on the beers today, 3am now so time for some sleep for me.

Good work, You look better placed than the guys currently in 2nd/3rd for potential carnage this weekend (don't know if they have any trades left), so staying in first a real possibility
I'm in 8th, but 0 trades left and don't think I can make a massive jump
Toafofoa Sipley was the hero this week, injuries meant I had to play him, and he rewarded me with 86 points.

That's awesome, well done. Looks to me like you can cover this week's carnage as well as anyone. Certainly 2nd, 4th and 5th. Team currently in 3rd your biggest danger.
