Hmmm... defined, simplified role is good. If he starts and gets approx Vaughan's minutes (50ish) then there's a load of upside (as well as stress)

In the fox article he talked about using his offload and passing close to the line. Could be fun to own if it works out, particularly with DPP.

And his ratio of work to brain explosions was higher last season. And has a good schedule and probably no Origin.

Makes RFM a bit more interesting, assuming he gets the other edge spot.

Kikau more likely to get rested, meaning more secure minutes for the other edge. RFM 10+ points underpriced as an 80 minute edge player.

Preston (rookie) is apparently a bolter at least for their 17, either as starting or bench edge.

Kikau getting rested is a bit of a myth. 76 minute average last year, we probably just notice the convenient HIAs, they're not actually that common.

Forwards being told they will offload more is like halves taking the line on, or the general occurrence of training the house down. Wouldn't be a pre-season without them

Yep, watch for Preston as a bolter. The last guy Gus talked up so much was Max King

I don't think you're going to stop TPJ offloading more tbh. Only question is whether they register as OFH, OFG or as hookable errors.

Reese Walsh fractured eye. No surgery required. At this stage may or may not be right for round 1

If the stories of how bad his back is are true, then that plus moving into the prop rotation would definitely make him an avoid for me (that and the multiple times he's fucked me before)

Walsh has a fracture in the orbital bone. No surgery needed but in doubt for round 1.

    It is carnage already!

Just read an interview where Josh Schuster referred to himself in the third person, I'm going to have to put a line through him.
He did also allegedly lose 15kg in the off season which could be handy

Yep the Storm realised a pre season injury report an hour ago.

    Justin Olam (fractured forearm)

After undergoing surgery on the arm injury he sustained in the pre-season match against the Roosters on Sunday, the PNG centre is expected to be sidelined for around six weeks.

    Ryan Papenhuyzen (knee)

Paps continues to work hard on his rehab program, building strength in his right leg. If he continues to progress well, it’s hoped he will return to the field around rounds 6-8.

    George Jennings (knee)

A medical illness in the new year has delayed the winger’s final stages of recovery from his ACL. He should be available by round four.

    Tariq Sims (calf)

A calf injury has kept the former NSW Origin forward out of the trials. He is building towards a return to full training and should be available in the early rounds of the season.

    Marion Seve (knee)

A cartilage issue has prevented Marion from training with the main group and playing in pre-season. His return date is TBC.

Sims missing round 1 but potentially back round 2 or 3 icould make it awkward picking a storm edge player.
