Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 12
I understand he did well in those last 10 games, my thinking is that the team didn't do very well and with the reduced interchange the coach has decided to perhaps do something different with team selection and interchange. Perhaps LAM is going to set the intensity from the get go and then drop to the bench and let the rest carry on. Kinda like a pacesetting horse hahaha.
Who knows really. Am hoping it better next week.

The reduced interchange is going to help some and not others. I'd definitely give LAM another fortnight, but would move him if he's not getting the minutes required.
Not sure if the coaches are on top of their rotations either. They might tweak things over the next few weeks.

Was pretty impressed with Packer last night for his price, kept himself busy and didn't look too gassed either considering it was his first proper hitout. Was gonna trade him for Carter but now i think i'll hold.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 12
Highest profiting players (cows?) from 2015 who scored well below their end of season average in their opening game of season 2015.
Player ~ First Up Score ~ Season Profit
Jack Bird 30 (+218k)
Jake Trbojevic 5 (+217k)
Frank Pritchard 19 (+214k)
Sio Taukeiaho 25 (+179k)
David Klemmer 24 (+157k)
Jake Granville 24 (+151k)
Lachlan Coote 20 (+146k)
Glenn Stewart 27 (+138k)
Raymond Faitala-Mariner 16 (+137k)
A number of players who, at first glance, you'd possibly place on the chopping block. Doing so would have cost you over 130k minimum for each of these guys.
I remember a number of people trade raging Glenn Stewart after round 1, only to have to buy him back 2 weeks later once he started hitting big scores.
Keep that in mind when rushing into trades this week...

Ooh...interestingly it looks like players are going below base price this year. That changes things a bit.

confident in no Levi in the future lad? Randall and Garvey are appealing but I would like to not stray away from how I set up my team to start the season with the 2 gun hookersBren wrote:

Ditto also more important from my point of view that Nat Green gets another crack this weekend - nice win BTW GM.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 12
Having the low scoring jackoffs with no cellar price keeps us on our toes a bit. Nothing too serious at the moment and can afford to lose a $1k here or there with Mitchell and Feeney. Wouldn't want someone in the NPRs shedding $10k or $20k though.
Even if they turn out to be duds, if they play 80 mins, they should scrape enough points to hover around $130k.
The players to really watch out for now are the 10 minute wonders like Kodi Nikorima, Baptiste or Roache. Their value could fall if they play 10 every week.
