With those with a Hooker out, are you bringing in Garvey or Walker(via jniko)?

I reckon given similar amounts of games Garvey will score/make more....but Des is Des and will have the calves blood, virgin sacrifices and who knows what other crap he has going on and Lichaa will be back sooner than expected

Is it reasonable to think Leuluai is a failed cow with his minutes because J Trbo is looking very attractive upgrade

No-one has mentioned Mike Cooper yet. Probably because I was the only muppet who bought him. But with only 35 points in 51 minutes, he's seriously on the chopping block. I thought he'd step up with Merrin gone.... Fair call to dump him? Or give him another week? I could potentially upgrade him to Fifita...

I've replaced Lichaa with Peats for 3 reasons:

    1. Origin
    2. Parramatta Eels Cheers
    3. Did I mention that he plays for the Eels?

    Trades this week:
    Henry out - Carter in
Ferguson out - J. Trbo in (via Aubussen)

    Will give me:
    Smith (c), Macca
    J. Trbo, Grant, Evans (Leuluai)
Surgess, Merrin, Cartwright, Whitehead, Carter (J, Safiti)
    DCE, Hastings (J-Nik, Taylor)
    Aubusson, Gutherson (Green, Littlejohn)
    Slater, Gordon, Barba (Mitchell, Feeney)

I'm tempted to play J-Nik over Grant. Thoughts & thanks.

I wouldn't say Leuluai is a compete did, but JTurbo is clearly a better option.

If you can afford it due to a Lichaa downgrade or whatever send pretty good.

I have him too. I'm willing to give him another week. I optimistically think that'll be his lowest score of the year Rolling Eyes

Why are you dumping Ferg? He scored just a few points under his BE. What exactly were you expecting in his first outing in a young Roosters team? A score of 50?

I have him and he is going nowhere. He's got the ability to go big and more importantly bust tackles, which is the base of most elite fullbacks scores (Inglis, Teddy, RTS etc).

I bought him as a season keeper in that troubled centre spot. Hoping he can average around 40 or more. If it fails and he spends 6+ weeks hovering around a 30 average, then I will consider downgrading/upgrading. But you'd be silly to trade him in after one week.

I'm sure Milchy can do the stats but I would bet that on average forwards score the least against the Storm than any other team. They just spread the ball from one side to the next from the second tackle onwards using the block plays with Slater etc its very hard for workers like JDB and Cooper to get big tackle counts and the storm are a good team with a great defense and good kicking game. I would hold but there is better value out there but not worth a wasted trade. In saying that Fifita is a nice upgrade with Gallen out. But surely you have more pressing trades out there. Most gun props underperformed except Graham, Tolman but injuries helped and Klemmer back this week. Graham also will most likely get knocked out at some stage. Cooper has good byes so hold for now, make cash elsewhere for better players in five weeks time. Its a long season

Going to bring in Garvey and one of Smith/Peats.

Don't trust Brown and the Knights pack so no Randell for me. Could get Snowdened at any moment and be in NSW cup

Well I started with Aubusson in the 2fr which in hindsight was a mistake. I now want to move him to the centres & bring in a gun forward & with Trbo playing lock he's my choice so either Ferguson or Slater had to go.

Smith for me with the eels injuries last weekend I am still not 100% in Peats playing 80, he doesn't need to, to score big but I wouldn't be expecting 60+ otherwise but you know that. What are you expecting out of Garvey? I rather him over Randall and Levi returning this week potentially shows the volatility in that Knights team

what is the other trade to facilitate this or do you just have the coin to spend?

leuluai doesn't look like doing a whole lot at the moment, but its just the minutes holding him back. i'm quietly hoping he jumps ahead of moa over the next few weeks.. seems unlikely though.

Yep.  I couldn't fit him in but I'd be pretty happy if I had him.  Once he starts scoring the odd try with associated TB's he wshould have a couple of big Fantasy games.
