I got LAM, Whitehead, Cooper, Green holding all of em. As I need to trade out Lichaa to Walker/Garvey, I am looking to upgrade Leuluai to Carter this week. Leaves me with 278k in the bank, next week I can then upgrade one of the underperformers to a gun and, depending on injuries not requiring a trade elsewhere, upgrade Green (if he scores sub 20 as he is in my 17) to Mansour/Brown via Fergs
Gives me another week to look at the minutes people playing.

LAM gets a stay of reprieve to see where his minutes go.
Lichaa to Peats
Green to Holland
Anyone know how bad Stanley's hammy is? How many weeks?
My back line is a mess but I don't want to trade rage LAM who if he is given the minutes has the potential to score well.

Re: 2016 NRL.com Fantasy thread part 12
So im at a complete loss as to what my next move should be.
My team at the end of last round was.
Licha, Dockar-clay
JBromwich, Evans, Leuluai, Pauli
Merrin, LAM, Parker, BHenry, Cartwright, Palavi
DCE, Hasting, ATaylor, JNik
Croker, Dugan, Gutherson, Littlejohn
Tedesco,, Feeny, Mansour, LMitchel, Eden.
I have 15k in the bank.
Most important move is to cover Licha.
Option 1
LAM>Carter
Licha? to Smith or Peats
Still leaves my reserves thin. I have no idea what other options to consider.
any thoughts would be appreciated.

TheWeapon wrote:No-one has mentioned Mike Cooper yet. Probably because I was the only muppet who bought him. But with only 35 points in 51 minutes, he's seriously on the chopping block. I thought he'd step up with Merrin gone.... Fair call to dump him? Or give him another week? I could potentially upgrade him to Fifita...
I've got him too and was disappointed with his scores. Too early to dump though. Got to give a few weeks to see whether a pattern of low minutes emerges.

I don't have the money to bring Carter in unless Itrade out LAM. Plus I have Henry. Do I really want to burn 2 trades

I wouldn't say Leuluai is a compete did, but JTurbo is clearly a better option.
If you can afford it due to a Lichaa downgrade or whatever send pretty good.
Cheers Milch. Actually Leuluai DPP is quite valuable and have none atm in 2RF. He also scored at .7 ppm. I might wait till Newcastle game and see if Bhana or J Saifiti drop out of 17(unlikely but heard rumours that 17 not set in stone) and shift VL to 2RF to bring in JTurbo. Otherwise wait a week

I've got Mike Cooper too. He was on 27 at HT, then only played 51 minutes as the Weapon said. Creagh came on for him, then Havilii went to lock. WTF.
You would think he would be getting more than 50 minutes per week, especially in a game that was pretty close, you want your best players on the field. Cant use Heat as an excuse either

@Fortitude
Is this your 1st year playing Fantasy? Why did you select players who weren't named in round 1?

Yes, no, maybe, sort of, bloody oath - it depends on if it works or not.
What I will say is that it is NOT crazy to trade in the 1st few weeks - I would lean more to saying it's imperative !
I don't recall any past winners NOT trading in these crucial weeks. Sure it's not QUITE as important as when prices didn't rise til week 3 - but unless you've dodged injuries AND have all the necessary cows - you are definitely crazy not to grab opportunities when they arise.

Your crazy to consider whitehead as a trade out. Played 80 and no attacking stats etc and gave away silly penalties hes a 40-45 average this year easy. I will look to bring him in soon
Sue, Grant and Ah Mau should be on notice

oh really? i missed almost the entire first half but i thought i saw him playign in the middle in the second half? or did he swap around?
i'm kind of hoping he actually comes off the bench this week. come on after 20 mins and rip in then play out the rest of the game. should actually be better for his scoring.

Played first 23 mins at edge until Frizell came on. Must have been subbed in last 4 minutes of game because he played 76 minutes apparently.
