Tried searching for match report form their last game (prelim final against the Dogs) but can't find anything to indicate a suspension or not

    Spoiler:

    SMH early mail
    Hynes to miss R1
Bateman to not be named, Blore starting
    Turbo fit
Other obvious non fantasy relevant info that is somehow a headline

Let’s see how correct this is tomorrow

So if Blore starts this week, how many people will pick him?

Assume for this argument that Jacob Preston does not start.

Those 'fox lab predicted finish ranks' are hilarious!

    Bulldogs 15th, Tigers 17th, and Dragons 10th?

Now, I've got the odd pleasant smokeable lying around in the shed. But I don't indulge before work.

Because otherwise I'd write stupid shit like saying the Dolphins will finish above Manly.

So, foxsports lab, please lay off the good green before estimating rankings. It's not subtle and no-one's amused.

I guess ditto for Trindall. Anyone game to pick him for 1-3 weeks?

Hynes missing R1 makes it slightly less interesting, at least initially, with Cleary ownership and captaincy to skyrocket. But then it will be interesting in R3 to see who wears a maybe 40+ point loss (say captain worth 10 less and 30 points less for 18th man) or who decides to burn trades juggling guns? I’ve got no idea - kinda tempted to overthink it

Would much rather punt on Blore than Trindall

Bateman has no match fitness whereas Hynes appears to just be R1 missing

if you want to overthink, skip Hynes and Cleary and go Murray as captain

    Get Cleary in r4
Get Hynes in when he's fit/after his bye

How you get the money to do that is up to you. I guess that's why you have to overthink it, and not just work out a plan in 7 seconds

It feels like they mainly took last years ladder and inserted Dolphins in the middle.

I know it’s Wayne Bennett SuperCoach but he’s also had cattle before and the one time it was going pearshaped (Knights) he bailed fast

And I don’t think Dragons will be that bad, but 10th is optimistic

no hynes doesn't really affect fantasy because most people were going with 1 of hynes or cleary due to the money factor & not both whereas in sc & vsdt it was easy to have both & in my case dropping hynes lets me get grant

I think EasyTiger was saying weeks ago that Blore was the front runner or at least had been training at EDG. If Blore is named, it would mean he's the preferred pick wouldn't it??

Dolphins to finish 9th or 10th apparently. I’m guessing that they must think they go through the entire season without an injury anywhere in the top 17 and that the 7 teams below them must be dropping out of the comp by April.

How many weeks does he need to be good value?

How many weeks will he get before Bateman starts?

Might just go Cook, Grant, Smith (MID), Liddle, Hodgson, Kenny, Boyd (HLF)

Cook should match Murray. Grant might at 100k less. Not seriously contemplating either but I think it’s a risky option

If Bateman is named to start anywhere in the starting side then problem solved. If he is named on the bench, or not at all, then JS is still crap for Blore.
