But I have ruled out TMM. Just checked his socring at 6 in QCUP  last year

    37 with a try, 21, 21 and 17
Just can't risk him in the NRL

Don't really like other options either. Izaac Thompson needs a try a game in order to make decent money. Perham is only marginally better than TMM.
Khan-Pereira screams low base. Despite the low scores Tommy Talau at least looks to have a reasonable ceiling that he can hit somewhat often.

Got me considering the same now hmm.

The extra cash of downgrading TMM to him for potentially similar scores is a real tempter eh

    Neame 25
    Cotter 55
Would really need 60+ minutes for Cotter to make him worthwhile.

Have $200k to spare so now evaluating both Haas and Tino who have each been in and out of my pre-season teams.

Gonna be hot in nq, rotations seem inevitable, why I dumped robson

Haas gonna be facing the full force of panthers, lots of base

    Tino is fun too

Hess playing 80? Neame might play out there.

My mate works at Intersport here in Townsville and HSS and Cotric were in today buying new boots. One of the workers asked HSS how he thinks he will go in fantasy and HSS just giggled and said I'll try my best mate.

If you have paid premium for Staggs I wouldn't be touching him.

I'd prefer both Haas and Tino to Cotter. Like you say, I just don't think Cotter will reliably get the minute to go up a gear from last year.

In fact now that I have committed to Ponga, I can upgrade Carrigan to Tino if I want to, which is quite tempting

If I was an NRL player it would be hard to resist the urge to slap people who only care about your fantasy output

HSS has just promised to "do his best" for a big fantasy score. I now expect sideways slapsie runs, with a few offloads (to hand or otherwise, its points all the same)

He could play EDG early, then Hess plays some MID. Likely works out similarly. I haven't included any time for Granville who could also spend some time in MID.

The nice thing about Teddy and Latrell is you can back flip back and forth between the two up until Sat night as they are the same price haha.

Buying new boots in another state on an away trip. Smacks of under-preparedness. Avoid them both. What if they don't have their size.

Got CNK as the guy im most uncertain about.

Seems like lots are going TMM.

Already got 50k in the bank is it worth dropping CNK down to TMM and pocket more cash or are people just going TMM over CNK as dont have the cash.

Still catching up on the thread but...

    I'm with you.

My reasoning was that the mid price value could be better spent elsewhere and thats exactly what I have done.
No one expects him to go boom, just in the range of a casual 55 points - that's great.
His first price rise isn't going to be massive. Once I have clarity on his role, I can make the call to bring him in for one of my guns or mid tier guys who under perform. Side ways trade maybe? Might not do it. There is a lot of talent out there. But if D.Fifita flops, Cheese or Egan Butcher are my first trade week 1-2...

It's a good call and i'll back it all the way!

If you don't tenderise horse meat you're going to end up with flavoursome but incredibly chewy minute steaks, or even stews. The flesh of horses is dense, low-fat, high-iron and very healthy, but you need to treat it properly before consumption.

You can tenderise in a multi-day brine, or by really long slow cooking, or by tiny thin slicing and fast cooking... but nothing is better (for delicious thin steaks in particular) than manual tenderising.

In short: bringing back the dead horse for another flogging is just good culinary practice.
