B easily, Haas is priced based on him playing with two busted shoulders last year, and now he's fit and healthy.

Carrigan looking to add more to his game again to step up this season. Both he and Tino have grown massively during rep seasons, becoming much better players, with higher PPMs.
I only have Carrigan, expecting him to at least score as well as Haas. Haas will be a base stat beast as normal, Carrigan will get there with additional attacking stats, running to the line, then deciding whether to take the line on, pass at the line or go into contact then pass. Looked fantastic in the trials playing that role, scored 70+ in 60 minutes.
You will also love the options that the extra cash gives you in the next couple of rounds.

I would rather start Haas and get Tapine before Origin, but that one's up to you.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 8 - Hopgod!
What are people’s thoughts on Tohu Harris and his minutes?
Average before his 2021 ACL injury was higher than any other forward
2022 average was affected by him being eased back from injury
No origin
Main concern is whether he gets 70+ minutes or not. Anyone have any insight into the rotation at Warriors?

Have to expect Sutton to get 50+ minutes, where he averages 50. If he gets 60+ minutes which he is very capable of, while they are in a MID crisis, calling in reserve graders, that increases to 55 average.
Wilton by comparison has the same average as a starting EDG as Sutton does at 50+ minutes, also at 50, but doesn't have the early upside of Sutton and the extra $45k will really come in handy at the time you most need it. Danger that while Wilton has won the starting spot, Graham could steal some minutes on the EDG.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2023 Part 8 - Hopgod!
Almost caught up to live - love how active this place is early in the season!
Ended up going with a mid heavy team and way more cheapies than most.
Got Trindall, Alamato, Talau, AKP, H.Hunt starting in the 13.
Wrbrick, Keppie, Stone & Preston 18-21.
Saw the Marzhew mail too late, hoping Hunt holds his spot for atleast 3-4 weeks and makes some decent cash being the left winger for the Knights with a couple of soft games to start.
Trindall - hoping he gets 3 games before Hynes returns. Worst case scenario i'll have to trade him out if Hynes is back and he's named at no.14. But I'm expecting 35-45ish scores from him and actually play him in my 17 for now which is more confidence than I've got in most of my other cheapies esp the guys in 18-21.
Looking at Alamoti, Talau, AKP & Hunt is scary in the back 5. But Hunt's on the left wing for the Knights and AKP & Talau are playing each other in what I expect to be a high scoring game so i'm OK with this for round 1.
To balance this out I've got Haas, Murray (C), Tapine, DFifita, Carrigan, BSmith & Hopgood in the forwards in my playing 17. Also Doueihi and Teddy.
I usually go value mid rangers and struggle from the early rounds and end up not even close to a top 1k finish so trying something different this year!

Carrigan went over 60 3 times out of 14 games last year, averaging 60 minutes. Its really a bit of gut feel/hope that have people expecting him to replicate his trial performance regularly rather than stats based.
Haas much more likely to crack 60, and was hampered by injury last year. I think he's the better bet if you can swing it.
I currently have both. Interested by Tino instead of Carrigan. Money and byes have me leaning Carrigan, but I am not as confident in him as others are

Not sure that Trindall gets the 14 jersey with Graham in the team able to play 6 if needed. Would indicate a real concern about Hynes not being able to get through a game without reinjury. If Trindall gets a decent shot for a few weeks at 7, the best case scenario is that he kills it and they realise that Hynes at fullback (not needing to do any kicking) with Trindall at 7, is going to be a better team than Kennedy at fullback.

That's a huge guns and cows team there, and brave enough to skip Cleary. Good luck, will be interesting to see how you go.

With Hopgood at 37% last night, he will be the highest owned going into R2 I think, as all the casuals jump on.

He's up to 39.8% now, not sure how that would have changed since lockout.
