yeah no real dissappointments in that game, I think everyone on the forum can be happy (unless they didn't select Hopgood)

Was Hopgood a forum favourite or will casuals jump on too?

I was impressed by Harry Grant's motor, he already looked matchfit

Should I dump one of Blore, Ford, Talau or Preston for a BMM so I can get Cartys points?

One of the highest owned players in the game, just about everyone would have him

I don't see why not, I would dump Blore out of those 4

    I'd keep Ford
If it doesn't cost you CTR/WFB coverage I'd ditch Talau.

Blore or Preston are a tossup. Blore might lose his spot to Bateman at any point, and Preston might take a while to build up to useful minutes. Take a punt on who'lldo better

I have 76k bank (56k bank if Klese Haas doesn't get the spot and I put Talau back in) and footystats has Carty going up to about 290k so in theory I could trade my shittiest cheapie to Carty next week in a single trade.

I'll be pondering the same thing with Loiero.

Dropping TMM down to IKatoa to give me 219k next week to sort my life out.

Cleary, Carrigan, Ponga and Miller tonight.

    Ponga/Miller to out score Cleary/Carrigan?

Hopping Ponga has a slow start for the Warriors sake.

He tends to start seasons pretty well, has had a 90+ in his first 4 games in each of the last 3 seasons. Typically has poor ends to seasons.

I love it when I post a TU/TD and then within 5 mins I've made my decision anyway Very Happy I guess posting it is how I make my decision.

Latrell and I. Thompson out for Bird and Walsh, and I will play HSS and Talau this week and cop a slightly worse score, though that may be offset by looping the last reserve spot between Preston and Trindall

Only caught up on the game late last night - hell of a way to start the season.

Hopgood - I know it's bee well covered, but an 80 minute workhorse lock who likes to offload at 453k? An absolute gift from the fantasy gods. Maybe not quite as good as Haas/Grant at base price, but the next best thing. Looked every inch a gun both in fantasy and in real life.

Katoa/Loiero - Can't be too unhappy with that, would like a touch more from Katao but 39 is a solid floor, both look like they should make cash.

Doorey - as advertised. Bit ploddy but 31 is fine to make cash and stash in EMG.

Warbrick - Was so quiet I was terrified I'd log on and see a single figure score. 29 outstanding in a game where the ball barely came his way. Will definitely have some more open games with a try or two at some point to get the cash going. Might have to re-evaluate whether he's playable in the 17.

Of the players I didn't own, Carty & Grant hurt but can't have em all. Hodgson had a score where I think both owners and non-owners would be fairly happy.

Hopgood, Carty, NAS, Warbrick, all in starting 17 for 222/4. Can't complain, all got the 10+ points of value.

Bit of  a diversion here fanatics. Just launching this fun little AI rap composer at work today. Works on the same principle as most of the popular AI image generators

Compose a little rap by describing what you want it to be about and what musical style you want the backing track to be (e.g. old school hip hop, drum and bass, dubstep etc etc). Ai generated backing track and vocals with Chat GTP providing the lyrics

Maybe a couple of Hopgood inspired couplets???

B easily, Haas is priced based on him playing with two busted shoulders last year, and now he's fit and healthy.
