Alamoti only scored 12 points less than Teddy. It’s all about perspective

831 with a big duck egg from AKP. Not sure what moves I should make. Looking at Hammer as he seemed pretty good today, but would come at the cost of Egan and would have to play Stone or Carty. Not the worst? Will see what happens...

Hammer instead of the dross centre options seems a reasonable play to me

After updates I scored 832, rank of 7239. A solid start. I avoided AKP, I. Katoa, Preston and Blore. A
Alamoti and Talau didn’t go well but most have them. Uto 32 a bit underwhelming as was E. Butcher 31 and Cheese 34.

With Turbo having a bye next week and Talau got carried off with an injury it looked like I’ll only have Thompson, Alamoti, Miller and Warbrick in my backs so only 4 backs so I need to find another centre I feel. E. Butcher if suspended would make way or Cheese if he’s out with rib cartilage injury.

And Talau and Alamoti both gonna be slow burns and with Talau limping today I’m thinking I’ll trade him to either Carty or Moale.

On Carty where do we think Matto plays when he’s back round 4?

The eels have Nathan Brown back for selection this week.... Matto is due back from suspension in R4.

The bench last week was hardly used

Momoisea, Grieg and Makatoa played a total of 40 minutes combined with no other player in the pack playing less than 60 minutes. The eels struggled when the main pack went off so I can see some changes next week, possibly with Brown selected Doorey/Carty may not play 80 next week. Its is all a little uncertain with all the injuries

Doorey didn't play 80 this week, as advised by the coach before the game.

Six if you're counting the Warriors as well as the Storm as Queensland.

And the only two NSW teams to win beat other NSW teams from further south than them, so those can possibly be counted as Queensland wins too.

    809, rank 14895.

    Ranks very tight.

Glad I went with Doohee and Fifita for the final game.

Two weak CTR's hurt, but with HSS and Almoti, probably to be expected. Few days to think about trades, but at this stage Egan with a suspension will be an option to trade out, however I do beleive he will make good cash when he's back as his base stats are supreme and he just looks for work out there.

Roosters were... not what I was optimistically expecting. Somehow forgot that they've lost SST, Angus and Sitili for various reasons and JWH on last legs (and also out yesterday) leaves them with a pretty ordinary pack and bench (Watson also a big out there).

Backline will still be amazing once Manu back, but they'll have to do it without a platform.

EButcher will/should get suspended but I'll probably sell him even if he isn't. He'll score alright and make money but there are a few things I can do with squad composition and fixing and he's the best out for me. Highish BE and Rnd4 bye also come into calculations. Could always get him back later in season if he keeps spot above Angus or Sitili (he won't) or if those two are very late back.

Cheese will also find it harder behind this Roosters pack than previous Storm ones, but he's still value and a big score waiting to happen. Hold.

783 for me seems way off the pace but overall feel happy with my squad

    The good
Kenny 47 - Played exactly the role I expected as the big minute hooker. Luke looked good coming off the bench so something to monitor but I think at worst Kenny goes to 50 minutes for 40 odd
Collins 59 - Wrapped him all preseason and he came through big time. Will get a rest at some point when the Roosters click and blow someone off the park but until then I don't see a reason he can't average 50
Katoa/Loiero - Most people have them but very happy with the roles and scores. Will continue to average around 40

    The bad
Cheap centres - 40 points between HSS and Alamoti was right around where I expected. On another day HSS probably adds another 10 points to his score
TMM - Looks like he is probably priced how he will score. Not a priority trade out but will look to move to a gun WFB after some price drops
Garner - 50 minute edge isn't gonna cut it for price rises so he is firmly on the chopping block

    Trade candidates
Hastings - Doesn't have the role I want so will be out the door this week
Garner - If a better option comes up I'd consider moving him on. Leaves me a little short on EDG depth if I do
TMM - Don't think I'll pull the trigger on this one but if I have some cash left over I'd consider it
